in a blur, dayoung and hyeri reached their house with worry and anger fueled through them.
dayoung only remembered the glimpses of minjoon's concerned face and the dreamies' confused expression before hitting out of the building.
however, the only one that seared through her mind was haechan's worried, angered filled face and his words that were hesitant to let her go.
his brows were furrowed out of anger yet his eyes were outlined softly with worry swirling in them.
and the last words she heard before she slammed the door, making her slightly laugh was his honey-like voice that uttered out, "tell me if he does anything to you, and i'll show up with a bat."
now, dayoung and hyeri stood behind the doors of their home, a luxurious lamborghini that shone bright amongst the vast cars on the driveway.
"to think they she would choose a better color," hyeri snickered, referring to the evil mistress of their dad, if he was their dad.
"it's hot pink, what do you expect from a typical bitch," dayoung bit out in reply, feeling her irritation grow. "i bet you, she has a chihuahua in her hands right now."
sighing, hyeri grasped onto the door handle that was already unlocked. "they can't even lock the door," she monotonously said.
stepping into the medium sized house, immediately, voices zoned into dayoung's ears. shouts, everywhere and one that dayoung could differentiate was the hurtful and desperate voice of her vulnerable mom.
dayoung narrowed her eyes as she tried to look where the three figures were, ultimately knowing the only place that held the most hurtful memories, the kitchen.
instantly, she zoomed to the kitchen with hyeri hot on her tail where the voices got louder after each step. nostalgia shot through her spine as raw memories poured through her mind, from the screaming to the glass breaking to her dad leaving. it all brought nothing but pain and anger.
slamming open the kitchen door, dayoung's gaze settled upon the three figures she was looking for, her gaze filled with fire, yet it looked chillingly cold to the bone.
"why the fuck are you here?" she spat out angrily, her tone slicing through the loud, spiteful yelling.
turning his body to her voice, dayoung's dad, hangyeol, looked at her with his brows raised. "i'm your father, you shouldn't be talking like that to me."
behind dayoung, stood hyeri who loudly scoffed, making her presence known. "father my ass," she retorted back, her bright personality void of emotion.
"what was that?" seonghwa, the new wife, growled out.
"i said, he's not our father," hyeri challenged.
"i'm still your father," hangyeol said.
"who says you're our father," hyeri scoffed.
"i say it."
