sighing out heavily, dayoung looked at the clock that was at the front of the room that seemingly clicked louder than usual to her.
she boringly looked at the board, her teacher next to it lecturing her about history and she felt as if all of the life was sucked up and out of her.
history was so boring. and to add onto that, first day back was always the hardest to go through, monday was the definition of torture.
tapping her pencil against her desk, she repeatedly shook her leg up and down out of anticipation. the clock ticking closer and closer to the end of class, dayoung not worrying to pay attention to the lecture.
it was finally the last class for the day.
just as the bell rung, she quickly bounced out of her chair, already packing her stuff but before she could go out of the door, the teacher shouted out.
"students! i dismiss you, not the bell."
huffing out, dayoung rolled her eyes.
typical.
"your assignment for tonight is..."
and that was all dayoung heard as she started to zone out into her own world. don't get her wrong, she was a decent student and excel in her classes.
but her mind was distracted off somewhere, unknowingly thinking about the boy she had only met twice.
ironic how he made it into her mind.
"okay, class dismissed!"
jumping up in surprised, dayoung looked around in a daze before realizing she was free and automatically getting out of the room.
her feet hastily took her to the dance room of her school's, where she usually was after her classes ended.
opening the door with a bang, she scanned around the room, seeing all of her teammate who took the time to come at their own time out of their schedule to practice for their upcoming competition.
gulping at the sight, dayoung quickly apologized for being late as she started stretching her limbs.
"the leader is late again?" someone snickered out.
looking at the culprit through the mirror, dayoung narrow her eyes at the person already knowing who it was.
"why am i not surprised it's you who said it," she mentally face palmed.
"glad that you know now," sunhee chekily said.
lee sunhee was your basic college girl. she loved dancing just as much as dayoung did, but she was always the second to dayoung. who's the leader after all? not sunhee for sure. and that made sunhee sheer to vulnerability, seemingly only wanting the place of the leader as it naturally started to develop a rivalry between the two. the best one wins, and sunhee didn't like that she lost.
