sniffles were heard from the depths of dayoung's dark, dimmed room. the air in the house remained eerie and quiet, the opposite of what it usually was like. it felt as if the gloomy and rainy clouds only hung over their house while rainbows and the bright sun hung over the other houses.

knocking on dayoung's door, hyeri worryingly bit her lit. "do you want to talk about?" she softly asked, feeling sorrow for her big sister she loved to death.

silence was only met, dayoung remaining quiet as the darkness of her room continued to swallow her.

sighing, hyeri looked down, feeling frustration and anger swirling in her petite body. "I'm always here if you need me. I love you sissy," she loudly said to make sure dayoung heard. when hearing nothing but her voice echoing in the empty hallway of her house, hyeri pursed her lips.

deafening silence rung throughout the air. the sullen and ominous aura hung and clung onto the air of dayoung's room.

inside her dingy and dark cover of her blanket, she stared at her phone in disbelief. the bright screen illuminating her face that was painted with prominent tiredness that swelled through her red eyes.

biting her lips out of habit, she suck in a deep breathe as she looked up, feeling the incoming familiar yet foreign feeling of tears leaking out of her eyes.

"not again, not again," she croaked out through her raw and swollen throat.

she gently wiped the fresh tears that slid down her rosy cheeks, breathing through her stuffy nose. hurt flourished through her body, the feeling of anger and sadness gradually simmering within her.

"what an asshole," she muttered out to no one in particular besides herself. she then brought her bright screen to look at it once again, wanting to believe what she was seeing was something she was hallucinating about. however, it was crystal clear for her to see and it was crystal clear for her to understand how much she meant to him.

on her screen, she reread the words, message not delivered.

he had blocked her with no explanation.

she wasn't worth the time and effort, she bitterly thought.

exiting out of imessage, she habitually went to the web where she saw numerous of news. surfing through all of the articles, she pursed her lips at the amount of articles that still circulated around her and haechan.

it had been 3 weeks since it began. 3 weeks of dayoung cooped up in her room. 3 weeks of avoiding the cameras. 3 weeks of misery. 3 weeks of feeling like shit. 3 weeks of paparazzis stalking her. 3 weeks of crazy fans bashing at her every moment.

during those 3 weeks, she felt torn in the depths of her room, only left to her thoughts that wandered through numerous amounts of overthinking.

sighing, she turned off her phone, already knowing the content of the article and the comments that were posted under it.
