After you and Kakashi had concluded your chat with Inari, he decided to stay and ponder for a little bit while you and your boyfriend decided to get to bed.

"The kids lucky I didn't kill him," you stated, still slightly aggravated at his words.

"Well we somewhat explained to him why Naruto said what he said, so he should be more understanding of Naruto's feelings now," Kakashi replied. The two of you were changing your clothes and you walked up to the futon.

"I understand that but it doesn't keep me from being mad at him. I can forgive but I won't forget," you explained, as you laid yourself on the soft mattress. Kakashi laid next to you.

"Just let bygones be bygones. Anyway we should get some shut-eye, goodnight I love you," Kakashi hugged your torso and kissed you on the forehead. He then laid his head on your shoulder.

"Goodnight, I love you too," you smiled as you felt a soft pair of lips on the exposed skin of your shoulder. You kissed the top of his head and closed your eyes. As you felt safe and content, a deep sleep overwhelmed you.

The next morning you, Kakashi, Sakura and Sasuke had gotten up early to go and guard Tazuna. After Tsunami had given you breakfast, Naruto still hadn't woken up yet. As Kakashi was about to go and wake the boy up you stopped him.

"Let him sleep, he must be tired from yesterday," not only had Naruto trained for the whole day, he had also gotten into a fight with Inari (which was bound to tire him out). Kakashi knew what you meant and sat back down to finish the food in front of him.

"Thank you Tsunami, as usual, your cooking was amazing," you praised, she smiled a motherly smile.

"Your welcome," she told you as the team got ready to leave.

"Okay, we leave Naruto in your hands, he's pushed his body to the limit; overdoing it as usual. So he may not be able to move today at all," Kakashi spoke to Tsunami.

"What about you? You're still recovering yourself," she pointed out.

"Why, does he look wobbly?" you playfully pushed Kakashi as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder.

"I'll be okay," he reassured not only Tsunami but you also.

"Come on, let's go," Tazuna said and started walking, you all followed suit. You turned your head quickly and gave Tsunami a large smile, she gave you one in return.

As you were nearing the bridge, you could feel an extremely familiar chakra nearby. It was Zabuza, and he had another presence accompanying him. You guessed that it was the fake tracker ninja that you had met a few days ago. Kakashi had been holding your hand for the whole walk, unfortunately, you had to let go. He looked at you, confused, but once he saw you reaching into your bag to grab a kunai he understood what it meant. He put his guard up as well. Once you had reached the bridge. Tazuna and the two Genin were surprised to see injured bodies of the other bridge builders who were helping Tazuna.

"Hold on, what the heck is this?" Tazuna was dumbfounded and terrified. "What happened? Someone was here, someone got to them," he told himself. Zabuza's mist began to surround you and the team. Despite the fact that both you and Kakashi were holding kunai, he still grasped your hand for extra reassurance that you wouldn't be snatched away.
