After you and Kakashi until to had gotten dark and you thought it would be best to go home and get to bed. After all, you would be completing many D-rank missions tomorrow, which would prove to be a tedious task. Kakashi's house was closer to the park than your one so you had to part ways quite early.

"It was nice to spend some time together after being busy for so long," you said to Kakashi while you were standing with him outside his house.

"I really enjoyed it," he smiled at you before realising he was starring and calmly looking away. "I'll see you tomorrow, get home safe," He bid you a farewell and entered his humble abode.

 Your home was not too far from Kakashi's, but it was at least a good three-minute walk to get there. Whilst you were walking, you could hear the hushed tones of the villagers who were still outside. They whispered things along the lines of 'isn't that the person who raised that demon?' or 'I wish they would both just die already, they're a nuisance to have around'. By 'both' you knew that the villagers were talking about you and Naruto. You weren't bothered that they were talking about you, but you hated how they talked about Naruto. However, it would have been better if you had just decided to ignore it, in which case you did just that. When you had reached your own abode, you locked the door and instantly went to bed.

The next morning, you got ready and started walking over to where the team would meet. Once you got there, you greeted the (now official) Genin and sat down to wait for Kakashi. Considering that Kakashi would be at least half an hour late, you decided to observe how your new students were faring. Naruto looked as happy as ever and had a humongous smile on his face. Sakura was clinging to Sasuke as usual but he paid no mind. That was probably because he was too busy staring at Naruto with a slight pink tint on his cheeks. You knew that Sasuke would develop feelings for Naruto, but you didn't know that it would happen this soon. Half an hour of waiting later, and Kakashi finally decided to appear (giving the team no excuse for his tardiness). The two of you led the Genin to the Hokage's office to get your first mission. This mission was to find and bring back a cat that had run away for the third time this week. You wondered how much this cat hated its owner if it had run away more than once. Kakashi brought communication devices to help with the mission. You searched around the woods for a bit until you spotted the cat. You and Kakashi stayed behind as the students got ready to get the creature. The Genin hid behind three trees so that they wouldn't scare it away.

"What's your distance from the target?" Kakashi asked through the device.

"Five metres, I'm ready just give the signal," Naruto answered.

"I'm ready too," Sasuke responded.

"So am I," Sakura replied.

"Okay... Now," You told the students, giving them the order to grab the cat. The three Genin all jumped towards the cat hoping that one of them grabbed it. That Genin happened to be Naruto.

"I got him! I got him!" Naruto announced while the cat was clawing and scratching at him in an attempt to escape.

"Can you confirm that this is our target?" Kakashi inquired.

"Affirmative, we've got a positive ID," Sasuke confirmed.

"Right, lost pet Tora captured. Mission accomplished," Kakashi concluded.

"Can't we get a better mission than this?! I hate cats!," Naruto yelled into his mic. This caused both you and Kakashi to have a horrible pain in your ears.
