Previously: "No!" you yelled right before the kunai were thrown.

"Naruto move!" Kakashi exclaimed loudly.

The kunai kept travelling in Naruto's direction before Haku threw his needles at them. You sighed in relief, but you were extremely puzzled as to why Haku would help his enemy. Even Zabuza was wide-eyed, not understanding what had just happened.

"They didn't get him," Sakura stated in a voice that almost seemed bitter in a way. You brushed it off as nothing, it was probably just how her voice sounded.

"Their weapons cancelled each other out, Amazing. Now that's what I call lucky, I think," Tazuna commented.

"What are you doing Naruto!? Are you crazy!?" Sakura scolded the young boy.

"This is a battle not a talent show! Don't let your opponent see your jutsu!" Kakashi yelled. Kakashi being so angry wasn't something that you got to hear a lot, and you spend most of your time with him.

"A shinobi's art is deception, always keep the enemy guessing," you gave Naruto a tip but it came off as aggressive due to your tone.

"Even when executing a single jutsu one must distract their opponents attention, catch them off balance and out manoeuvre them. You just turn yourself into a human target when you enter a battle like that," Kakashi really let out his frustrations on Naruto and you could tell. A smile made its way onto your face, seeing Kakashi being a good teacher brought joy to you for some reason. Maybe it was because you knew that Naruto didn't only have you to care about him now.

"I'm sorry! I was just trying to rescue everybody!" Naruto apologised and grabbed his head in frustration.

"But there's another mystery here," Kakashi had calmed down and glanced at Haku as he spoke.

"Haku what are you doing?" Zabuza asked angrily. Haku stood up.

"Zabuza this boy, let me fight him my own way please," Haku demanded in a way. You were worried since Naruto didn't have the skill to beat Haku on his own (Sasuke was injured and couldn't exactly help).

"Bring it on," Naruto was confident in his abilities, but it was safe to say that you weren't exactly confident in his.

"So you want me to leave this to you, is that it Haku? As usual you're too soft," Zabuza slightly insulted his subordinate.

"Forgive me," Haku apologised. Sasuke had begun to kneel, it seemed that his injuries had become bearable.

"I'm warning you. One way or another, I'm gonna rip off that mask and tear you apart!" Naruto threatened. You were tempted to try and sneak away from Zabuza and somehow help Naruto.

"Don't even think about it," Zabuza seemed to notice you trying to slip away, Kakashi also seemed to have the same  idea as you. "The two of you know the score, Kakashi and Y/N, you go after Haku and I go after the bridge builder," Zabuza warned you. You weren't one to get angry really quickly, but this guy was really crossing the line. "Relax, just sit back and enjoy the show, let's see how they do one on one," Zabuza was giving you no choice but to do just as he wanted.

"That mask and your bogus story, you were with Zabuza all along! You think you can get away with a stunt like that?!" Naruto continued yelling.

"I'm sorry," Haku was apologising to everything, and it was slightly unnerving. "But as your sensei said, deceiving your opponent, catching them off guard; that is the art of the shinobi. Please don't take it personally," Haku finished. Sasuke then took out one of his kunai and threw it at Haku, who dodged it skill fully. Sasuke and Naruto were both wide-eyed at this.
