But to call upstarts like you ninja is a joke," Zabuza explained and his clone faded into the mist.

You knew that his clone fading was a bad sign, a very bad sign. It meant that he was getting ready to attack, and you nor Kakashi could do anything to help. All of a sudden a feeling of sorrow engulfed you. Maybe Zabuza was correct about calling you useless, maybe you were just a burden to those around you. No. This was what Zabuza wanted, he wanted you to feel this way and you couldn't give him the satisfaction of knowing that his words hurt you. You blocked out those thoughts and instead gave your attention to the scene that was happening in front of you. In an instant, Naruto was kicked and went flying into the air before painfully landing on the solid ground. During his no so graceful flight, his headband had come undone and laded on the dirt before him. Zabuza then stepped on the headband as a sign of disrespect.

"You're just brats," Zabuza seethed, looking down on Naruto. Sasuke flashed an extremely concerned face in the direction of the boy.

"Naruto!" Sakura yelled in worry. Frustration overwhelmed you, there was no way to get out of the water prison, but that didn't stop you from absent-mindedly hitting the inside of it in a futile attempt to escape.

"Listen, get the bridge builder and run. You can't win this fight. He's using all his power to keep me and Y/N in this prison, so he can only fight you with his water clone but the clone can't go far from his real body. If you get away from him he can't follow, now run!" Kakashi ordered the Genin, his voice is slightly altered due to being in the water prison. Sasuke looked prepared for an attack and so you decided to intervene.

"This is no time to be playing hero! If you just run then we'll take care of him and meet you in the town!" You tried to convince the students to go, but they chose not to listen.

"We've got to do it," Sasuke told himself and ran towards Zabuza.

"No! Sasuke you idiot!" You roared, however, that insult didn't even get him to spare a glance.

Sasuke continued running to Zabuza and threw a few shurikens at him. Zabuza took out his sword to block them and Sasuke jumped into the air with a kunai, getting ready to stab his opponent. Zabuza effortlessly grabbed a hold of Sasuke's neck and started strangling him. Sasuke struggled and Zabuza hurled him to the ground.

"Sasuke no!" Sakura wailed.

"He got Sasuke," Naruto exclaimed, almost not believing the fact that someone was actually stronger and more skilled than the Uchiha.

He then turned to face the Rogue Jonin, while shivering in fear. Naruto seemed to make a last-minute decision and started standing up in front of the assassin, clenching his bandaged fist in the process. He then also started running in Zabuza's direction.

"Naruto no!" Both you and Kakashi yelled at the same time.

"Naruto, what in the world are you doing!?" Sakura shrieked with her hands on her head.

"Fool," Zabuza said. You were starting to think that 'fool' was his favourite word. Naruto was pushed into the air because of a hit that Zabuza landed.

"What were you thinking charging at him all by yourself, even Sasuke couldn't get to him. We're only Genin, we can't defeat a Jonin. What did you think you'd accomplish by that!" Sakura lectured Naruto.
