"Save it," Sasuke replied, basically telling Haku to shut up. The two boys were holding their weapons against each other, still in the same position they were in when they blocked each others attacks.

"You're making a mistake, you won't be able to keep up with my speed. I've gained two key advantages," Haku revealed.

"Yeah, what are they?" Sasuke asked.

"First, we're surrounded by water. Second, I've blocked one of your hands. Therefore, you only have one free hand to defend yourself," Haku explained. You knew that something was wrong. Haku put up a one handed sign. Sasuke had an expression of worry, he knew that Haku was about to attack him. Haku then began putting up more hand signs (still with one hand) it seemed like he was about to perform some sort of jutsu, but you couldn't pinpoint what it was. You glanced over at Kakashi and even he looked shocked, it was probably because he's never seen someone perform a jutsu with a single hand. You however had seen it a few times, though it was still impressive considering Haku's age.

"Secret jutsu: a thousand needles of death," Haku quietly announced. Next he stomped his foot into the puddle surrounding him and Sasuke. The water rose up and turned into needles. You had never seen this jutsu and guessed that it was one of Haku's own, or something from his home village. Sasuke had his eyes closed in concentration, it seemed like he was trying to focus his chakra. The needles were quickly pulled to Sasuke, Haku jumped back as to not get hit by his own jutsu. However, the jump wasn't intended since he stumbled when making contact with the ground. "He vanished," Haku mumbled to himself. You directed your gaze up and saw Sasuke. He threw shuriken down at the enemy but Haku dodged each one.

"You're not as fast as you think, from this point on you'll be the one defending against my attacks," Sasuke appeared behind Haku. The fake tracker ninja moved away from Sasuke and once Sasuke had launched his own attack with a kunai, Haku had just barely managed to block it. Sasuke threw a kunai that was in his other hand, aiming for Haku's head. Unfortunately the tracker had dodged it just in time by ducking down. That was a mistake because Sasuke kicked him the the face and sent him flying to where Zabuza was standing. The Jonin had a look of disbelief.

"Thought you were quicker huh? Now what else are you wrong about?" Sasuke mocked his opponent.

"You made a big mistake insulting these ninja and calling them brats. That's just guaranteed to bring out Sasuke's attitude, and he's the best young fighter of the hidden leaf," you pointed out to Zabuza.

"And Sakura here is our sharpest mind," Kakashi had returned back to his nonchalant demeanor. Sakura let out one of her obnoxious laughs.

"And last but not least, our number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja is Naruto Uzumaki," Both you and Kakashi said in unison. This caused you to be quite impressed with yourself and you flashed Kakashi a smile, he gave you one in return.

"Haku if we keep going like this, we'll be the victims instead of them," Zabuza chuckled menacingly. "Get on with it," he ordered harshly.

"Right," Haku had recovered and was ready to kill Sasuke. He then began emitting Chakra from his body, or that's what you were guessing anyway. "I'm sorry it's come to this," Haku apologised. A feeling of distress welled up in your stomach.

"So cold," Sasuke whispered. Haku performed some sort of hand sign.

"What the fu-" You whispered to yourself. You've never seen someone do this type of hand sign. You attempted it but failed miserably. Ice began forming behind Sasuke and you had finally come to the conclusion that the hand sign was part of a kekkei genkai. The ice took on a mirror-like shape. More of the same ice mirrors started forming, they encased the Genin. The top was open but it was too high for anyone to be able to jump over.
