After that surprising turn of events, your team and Tazuna continued heading towards your destination.

"You were surprised because of his healing abilities, weren't you?" you asked Kakashi, even though you knew what his answer was going to be.

"Yeah, it was unexpected," Kakashi chuckled and rubbed the back of his head.

"Sometimes the speed that his body heals at is shocking even to me," you confessed, yawning. Kakashi took that as an end to your conversation and stayed silent after that.

The team continued walking for a while until you reached a small boat. Everyone climbed in and the person steering set sail. There was a thick fog surrounding the boat and it was silent until Sakura had decided to speak.

"This fog is so thick, you can't see anything," she commented in a low voice, as to not alert any possible enemy ninja.

You were sitting next to Kakashi, but you needed to get more comfortable. This caused you to shift slightly, and your hand grazed the back of Kakashi's. A small blush erupted on his cheeks as you moved your hand away and muttered a quiet apology. Naruto was at the front of the boat and decided to start sniffing the air for some odd reason.

"The bridge isn't far now, our destination is just ahead. The land of waves." the man steering confirmed. The fog started to clear slightly and an unfinished bridge was able to be seen.

"Woah! it's huge!" Naruto yelled. You slightly shook your head.

"Be quiet, I told you no noise. Why do you think we're travelling like this huh? Cutting off the engine and rowing, moving in the dense fog. It's all so they don't see us," The man scolded. Naruto had his hands over his mouth to prevent himself from making any more noise.

"Mr Tazuna, before we reach the pier I want to ask you something. The men who are after you, I need to know why. If you don't tell us, I'm afraid we're going to have to end this mission when we drop you ashore," Kakashi threatened. Tazuna was looking down to avoid eye contact with anyone.

"I have no choice but to tell you, no, I want you to know the truth. As you said, this is beyond the scope of the original mission. The one who seeks my life is a very short man, who casts a very long and deadly shadow," Tazuna explained, looking up.

"A deadly shadow?" you inquired, curious by what he meant.

"Hm, who is he?" Kakashi asked, wanting Tazuna to expand on what he meant a bit further.

"You know him, at least I'm sure you've heard his name before. He's one of the wealthiest men in the world, the shipping magnet Gato," Tazuna said, with a slight sweat on his brow.

"Huh, Gato? Of Gato transport?" Kakashi started.

"He's a business leader, everyone knows him," You finished.

"Who? Who? What? What?" Naruto quizzed.

"Naruto doesn't do that you sound like a monkey," you commented.

"Gato is a very powerful tycoon from a famous company, that's true. But below the surface, with the same ruthless methods he used to take over businesses and nations, he sells drugs and contraband; using gangs and ninja. It was one year ago when Gato first set his sight on the land of waves, he came to our island and used his vast wealth to take total control of our transport and shipping. Anyone who tried to stand in his way, simply just... disappeared. In an island nation, a man who controls the sea controls everything; finance, government, our very lives, but there's one thing he fears. The bridge, when it is complete, will join us to the land and break his control. I am the bridge builder," Tazuna revealed.
