Chapter 7

~Present~
"AHYMA!" Naruto yelled causing Ahyma to be thrown out of her memories.

Slightly annoyed, she looked down at Naruto who gripped Ahymas shirt with worry plastered onto his face. Ahyma felt guilty for scaring the boy for who knows how long, and she gave a quick nod before walking at a faster pace than before.

"HEY, WAIT FOR ME LADY!" Naruto demanded as his foot steps picked up from behind her.

But despite his protests, Ahyma continued to walk at a fast pace. Her mind was whirring with questions and predictions, Was this really the same boy from all those years ago? Why is he here? Does he remember me? What the hell happened within the years i've been gone?

"AHYMA!" She heard the young boys voice once again,

Now it was Naruto's turn to give the annoyed look, "I dunno what I said, but you're acting very strange lady. I said my name once and you suddenly ignore me, your eyes look glossy and blank! What the hell Ahyma." Naruto scolded which caused the woman to scoff,

Ahyma lifted her hand and gave a quick flick to Narutos headband which caused him to stumble out of surprise. Ahyma gave the now mumbling kid a small smile.

"I don't think you're too the age of lecturing adults." Ahyma said blankly

Naruto opened his mouth to say something sarcastic, but was cut of by Ahyma who gasped.

"Finally, after walking for years. We finally arrived Naruto." Ahyma turned and gave Naruto a grin,

"I was thinking if we didn't find the village, I would've had to dispose of you." Ahyma said casually which cause a look of panic to appear on Naruto's face.

Ahyma only laughed at this, she still was able to tease him and cause the same reaction every time for him. Even after years away from him, Ahyma still enjoyed the young boys company. And was going to miss it in a few minutes.

"Anyways," Ahyma continued,

"I guess you can find your buddies on your own, in that case see yo-" Ahyma was cut off by the boy suddenly leaping up and wrapping himself around her chest. Squeezing Ahyma so hard that she felt air leave her lungs.

"Naruto, what...the." Ahyma wheezed out,

"PLEASE DON'T GO JUST YET, I DON'T WANT US TO PART LIKE THIS." Naruto cried out while clutching Ahyma harder,

"PLEASE, MY SQUAD WILL NEVER BELIEVE ME THAT I MET YOU. JUST COME SAY HI THAN YOU CAN LEAVE." Naruto cried out again, as Ahyma felt the last oxygen molecule leave her lungs.

"Nar...Ut...O...I...Nee..D" Ahyma gasped out,

Naruto loosened his grip but still held on tight, Ahyma quickly filled her lungs with air and had to focus on not passing out with the young boy still attached onto her.

"Oh for fu... Ok fine Naruto fine." Ahyma breathed out as she caught her breath.

Naruto immediately stopped sobbing and happily jump off Ahymas chest. A look of victory plastered on his face, his bright blue eyes twinkling.

"You're so easy to convince Ahyma-san, it's pathetic." Naruto hummed as he started to stroll away.

Ahyma felt a vein pop in her head as she tried to keep herself from mutilating the boy. Her nails digging into her arms as she caught up to Naruto.

"Convince? Pathetic? watch your words dumb blond." Ahyma said coldly,

"Oi, who you calling a dumb blond?."

"The only blond in this whole village dumbass, so that would be you."

Both Ahyma and Naruto bickered back and forth, laughing and having the time their lives as they both made their way to Naruto's temporary residence.
