What's wrong with her?

──────────────

"Jaemin, wake up! You have to get to school early for that tour thing!" A voice called from the other side of the house. Jaemin groaned and pulled the covers over his head. His door flew open, and a man came into his room with a sigh.

"Ugh, seriously, this kid!" He said, shaking her head in disappointment. He walked towards his bed and pulled the covers off his body. He didn't budge, making her click his tongue.

"Na Jaemin!" He yelled, shaking his body. Jaemin sat up abruptly and glanced at his alarm clock. He stared at his brother with wide eyes.

"There's breakfast on the table. Hurry and eat! I have to leave now," His brother said before leaving the room.

Jaemin immediately got ready before walking out the door. He sighed and rushed to the bus stop. He stopped at the Cherry Blossom trees and smiled. The wind blew, making the trees sway. The petals fell gracefully and landed on the ground.

The sidewalk was covered with light pink petals, making it look like there was a carpet. Jaemin walked through the trees, catching a petal in his palm. A smile appeared on his face, thinking the petals looked like snow. He lifted his hand and checked the time. His eyes widened, and he ran to the bus stop quickly. He gasped as he saw the bus drive away.

He sprinted towards it, hoping one of the passengers would notice. He turned to the side and saw a girl staring at him. He lifted his arms, waving at her to stop the bus for him. She turned away from him as if she didn't see him. He halted and stared at the bus, flabbergasted. He couldn't believe that girl. He knew that she saw him, but she did nothing to stop the bus.

"Unbelievable!" He said with a scoff. He sighed and began to walk to school. He raised his arm, checking the time on his wristwatch.

He inhaled sharply, finally making it to the school. There were no students in the courtyard, making him curse. He ran inside, trying to find the office. He eventually found it and gathered his items before rushing to his first class.

"Why are they giving me so many things," He said, sighing as he struggled to carry the items. He glanced at each sign, looking for his first class. His eyes widened as he found walking towards him. He cursed, knowing he won't be able to dodge the girl. His items dropped to the ground, making him groan in frustration.

"Ow, watch where you're going!" She said, lifting her head. He opened his mouth in disbelief.

"Says the one lost in her thoughts!" He said, gathering his items that fell.

"I'm sorry," She said, helping him gather his items. He lifted his head and thanked her as she handed him the rest of his possessions. He scanned her face, finding her familiar. He squinted his eyes, trying to figure it out.

"You look familiar. Do I know you?" He asked, tilting his head. He raised his eyebrows, and his eyes widened. "You're the girl from the bus!"

"Excuse me," She said, running past him. He stared at her with a puzzled expression.

"What's wrong with her?" He asked himself. He shrugged and continued to walk on.

His eyes caught a crumpled piece of paper on the ground. Curiosity flowed through him, causing him to crouch down. He uncrumpled it and scanned the photo of a girl and a guy sitting on a bench surrounded by Cherry Blossoms. He trailed his eyes across the photo, staring at the girl, intrigued. She had shoulder length hair covered her cheeks as she rested her head on the boy next to her. Jaemin found himself smiling at the cute smile on her face. 'Bus girl?'

He stared at the guy next to her and raised an eyebrow. 'Her boyfriend?' The boy had long blonde hair and an eye smile. His head rested on hers while their hands were intertwined.

"Why is it crumpled?" He asked, confused. He shrugged, not thinking much of it. "I'll give it to her later."

He placed it in his pocket and continued to look for his class. He let out a tired breath as he finally found it. He turned his head as he noticed a teacher approaching him.

"Na Jaemin?" He asked, checking his clipboard.

Jaemin nodded and following the teacher inside the classroom. He walked in and watched as all the eyes in the class landed on him. His heart started to speed up, and his palms felt clammy. He didn't like the feeling of the attention on him. His eyes scanned the room, trying to distract himself. He found himself staring into the eyes of a familiar girl.

Her eyes widened as she stared into his eyes. She immediately turned away, making Jaemin raised his eyebrow. The teacher announced his arrival to the class, making him bow his head and gave his classmates a small smile. The girls whispered among themselves, feeling their hearts flutter at his beautiful smile.

"Your seat will be near the middle of the room," His teacher said, pointing to the seat.

Jaemin scanned the middle row, and the only seat was next to the girl from the bus. She turned her head at the sound of her name and raised her hand. Jaemin started to walk towards her, feeling as if he was going in slow motion. He stared into her eyes, feeling his heart skip a beat. The sun from the window illuminated behind her, making her black hair lighter. He gulped, finally making it to his seat, and placed his bag on the table.

"I'm Na Jaemin," He said, taking a seat next to her. He gave her a small smile and tried to calm down his beating heart. 'It's the first day, and you're already crushing on a girl?!'

"Heejin, Lee Heejin," She said, forcing a smile. They sat in silence and tried to listen to their teacher. Jaemin stared at the board with a bored expression, wishing class to go faster.

Break soon came, making him stand up. He stretched his legs before walking to the back of the classroom and opening the lockers. He placed his books into it before walking back to his chair. He watched as a small boy walked towards their desk and stopped in front of Heejin. He smiled at her before pulling her out of her chair. Another boy came in after in who looked familiar to Jaemin.

"Donghyuck?" He asked, staring at him with wide eyes.

Donghyuck raised his head, and his eyes widened as they landed on Jaemin. "Jaemin?!"

Jaemin nodded, laughing. They walked towards each other, giving each other a handshake before patting each other's back. Heejin stared at them with her eyebrow raised. She turned to Renjun and motioned to the two boys in front of them. Renjun shrugged, watching the interaction with Heejin in confusion.
