I'm not friends with them anymore.

"I saw that scene yesterday morning," Miyoung whispered, making Heejin turn to her.

"What scene?"

"With you and Jaemin at the dance room." Heejin craned her head at Miyoung, freezing before quickly recollecting herself.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Heejin said, taking a sip of the banana milk next to her.

"Don't act dumb with me, Lee Heejin. You know that I always go to the dance room before school."

"It was nothing! All I did was wipe his sweat," She said, mumbling the last bit.

"Yes, but you actually went into the dance room! You always avoid going there. What's going between you and Jaemin?" Miyoung whispered, glancing at Jaemin, who sat there conversing with the other guys.

"Nothing, we're merely friends, nothing more," Heejin replied, sighing softly.

"It doesn't seem like it. You went into the dance, and you haven't gone since-"

"Miyoung... please. Can we move on?" Heejin asked, frowning as she rubbed her arm, feeling uncomfortable.

"You're the only one who hasn't..." Miyoung muttered under her breath before sighing. A pang of guilt rang through her body at the comment she muttered.

"You can't keep this forever, Jin. You're going to have to face speaking about him." Heejin lowered her head, knowing she was correct, but it didn't help that Jaemin reminded her so much of him.

"I know, I just need more time..." Heejin said, her gaze downcast onto her lap.

"It's okay, take your time... I'm just getting worried about you. I don't want you harming yourself over a guy who could barely give two fucks about you! You deserved to be happy too..." Miyoung stressed, staring at Heejin worriedly. "I'm proud of you though. You're getting there, slowly, but surely, and soon we will all forget about him."

Miyoung placed her hand over hers and gave it a reassuring squeeze. Heejin gave her a forced smile before straightening up as if their conversation didn't happen.

"Is she bipolar or what?" Donghyuck asked, noticing the gloomy Heejin.

"Leave her alone, Hyuck," Jeno said, taking a bite of his food.

"Don't you have to go see your other friends or something?" Renjun said, sighing softly.

"I'm not friends with them anymore. I left the group." Every pair of eyes at the table fixated on Donghyuck. They stared at him as if he grew two heads. They weren't fond of Donghyuck's other friends all because they were a bad influence on him, and hearing this made them proud and relieved.
