"Is this seat taken?"

I asked a guy who was seated at the back of the room. First day of school ngayon. Unlike highschool, I actually want to make friends here. My friends and not somebody else's. I specifically chose to sit beside him because he looked super stylish and he gives out sass even in the way he looks out the window.

"Uhh..." he looked very unsure and didn't know what to answer. I think I'm on a wrong path here.

"Back off, bitch. It's mine." bahagya akong natulak nung isa pang lalaki na kakarating lang. Shit, this is really going bad.

"Ah, sorry. I'm just gonna--"

"He's just kidding." sabi nung lalaking nakaupo. "I'm Lance and this is my boyfriend, Jae." he took a second look at his said boyfriend before shaking hands with me.

"Uhm, can I?" tanong ko dun sa maldita niyang boyfriend bago mabilisang makipagkamay kay Lance. Jae gave out a big sigh and sat down before talking to me.

"Okay, I kinda like you." at nakipagkamay na rin saakin. What just happened? "I scare off strangers and if they're respectful, they become my friends."

"O-oh, okay..." I awkwardly replied. Am I just really going to have bad meetings from now on?

"So far, kayo palang ni Pam ang kaibigan namin." he smiled as he takes out a mirror to look at his teeth. "P-Pam? Who's she?"

"Me." a girl popped out, looking exactly like Jae. Piercings, red-colored hair, beret, crewneck and a scarf. "I like your shoes."

Of course she does, it's Louboutin.

"Anyways, add ko na ba 'to sa gc?" tanong ni Pam kay Jae. He took his time in answering and gave me a very strange look. Siniko na siya ni Lance kaya napakunot ang ulo niya. "Yeah." maikli niyang sagot at sumandal.

"Yeah daw." kibit balikat ni Pam at pinaupo ako. "Scoot." I moved over and was taken aback when she sat beside me. This is such a unique encounter. Do I just not socialize much or is this normal?

"Kumusta ang first day?" napamulat ako ng mata nang biglang binuksan ni Vicky yung pinto ko.

"I know we've been at each other's necks for so long, but can you knock?" tumagilid ako para 'di ko siya makita. I just came home and wanted to nap. I haven't been around so many people in a while.
