Chapter Forty Nine

"Happy Birthday to you!"

We all sang the twins a very happy birthday. We threw a party here at the mansion. The kids already started their school two months ago so they had a few friends over.

Sierra, Cha and Stephanie are here. Basically all of us, including Blue. We're all here to support the kids of our family and we wouldn't miss it for the world. Even Cha.

We were all sitting at one table while Drey and Justin takes care of their guest. Ayokong makialam, baka akalain nanay na rin ako.

While we're eating, I should update everyone what happened during the last three months.

Drey and the kids are still here, and I do not mind at all. I'm lowkey stopping them from moving out. Mamimiss ko yung mga bata eh.

Incase you missed it, Drey's pregnant. They're planning to move out before she gives birth which is unnecessary, but I understand that they have a family.

Also... Louie died.

Pagkatapos ng isang buwan sa ICU, hindi na niya kinaya. Drey was affected by it and we all tried to support her during her hard times.

The day of Louie's funeral, Drey got engaged to Justin. It wasn't planned to disrespect him, obviously, but it was a sweet moment for both of them. It was freeing.

Ako naman, pabalik balik sa site. The construction already got delayed two times, a month's worth, because of the typhoons hitting Pampanga. Our target is to launch it in the summer but it didn't happen, as you can see. New target is for it to be open on Christmas.

Kim had been focusing on his own career too. He had to go back to his house since he had his office there. Nagme meet pa rin naman kami tuwing nasa site, and catch-up coffee meets. Our friendship is stable.

Bumalik na si Justin at Drey sa table namin para kami naman ang kamustahin.

"Kamusta yung mga A-list guests namin?" tanong ni Drey bago umupo. Lumapit naman si Justin para himasin ang tiyan ni Sierra at bumati sakanya. He was a little surprised to see Blue.

"Bro, how are you?" he greeted in the most decent way possible. Hindi pa rin sila close ni Justin dahil nga kaibigan siya ni Louie noon. "Nagbalikan na ba kayo?"

Nagtinginan lang kami ni Drey in embarrassment. Lumayo lang ng tingin si Stephanie sakanya at uminom ng tubig. "I should.... Eat." he rushly sat down beside Drey.

Napakamot lang sa ulo si Kim na nakatingin sa baba habang kumakain. Sus, sayang saya nanaman siyang nandito ex niya.

"Enjoy na enjoy ka kap ah." bulong ko pagkatapos kong punasan ang bibig ko. "Sinasabi mo dyan, jagi?" sagot niya at tinuloy tuloy lang yung pag kain.

Nagpa-games na sila at kinailangan kong pumasok sa loob para tignan kung kaya pa ba ni yaya Alma. I think it'd be fine if I left the crowd for a while, naglalaro lang naman sila.

Kinuha ko yung mga pinggan na kakahugas niya at pinunasan. "Bakit nandito ka nanaman, 'nak? Samahan mo si Drey dun baka mapagod."

"Mas nag aalala pa ako sayo yaya eh. Sige na, patulungin mo na ako. Cha and Stephanie are there." I smiled as I saw her in defeat. Wala talaga 'to sa akin.

"Ya, ako na dyan." biglang sulpot ni Kim.

"Ano ba." bagsak ng balikat ni yaya. "Okay ako rito, dun na kayo!"
