I got home safely last night. It was the first time I got myself to drink a crazy amount of alcohol so I now am suffering the consequences of drinking on a weekday. "Gising na, 'nak." sabi ni yaya Alma habang hinihimas yung braso ko. "Hindi ka ba papasok?"
I was completely alright but I didn't feel like going to school today so I pretended. "Hmm, I'm not going to school today, yaya." I groaned and hugged my pillow. "Hindi ka naman nilalagnat." she said and felt my forehead with the back of her palm.
"I'm not, I just have a headache." I explained while my eyes were shut.
"Alright, sasabihan ko nalang yung driver." I peeped through my eyes and saw her left. I'm glad I have her around. I rested for about two hours more until a text message woke me up. It was from Kim, asking me if I was already awake. It was followed by another message saying he has something important to tell me.
I went down to ask yaya for breakfast. I craved for a lot of things because of my hungover. It was around 11 already so I think my dad already left. Vicky, however, tried to ruin my morning.
I was sitting by the kitchen island, with all the fucking chairs she could've sat on, she decided to sit beside me. "Good morning you sneeky bitch." she lowered her tone. "Excuse me?" I asked with one of my eyebrows raised.
"You snuck out last night, didn't you?" she asked, taunting me. I scoffed, "You call me a sneeky bitch without even having proof. How very... you."
"I woke up last night because of a garbage can near our room tripping over. It was 1 a.m. and I saw light from a car passing by." her eyebrows furrowed. "You seem so sure it was a garbage can. Sabagay, you're way too familiar with garbage, huh." I smirked.
"Oh you think you're so smart. Tignan natin kung sino'ng pupulutin sa basurahan kapag sinumbong kita." anger was written all over her face when she said it.
"Even if you're right, you know my father doesn't care where I go as long as it doesn't bother him." Yaya placed my food on the table.
"Aww, what a poor young girl." she tried to laugh but I smiled first. "That's the beauty of acceptance. I use it for good use. Just like what you're doing right now. Using all the money that my dad has right now because you know he'll find another young girl to spend his money on when you become looking like a hag. Having a prenup was actually the best thing my father did even though it came with a terrible price of marrying you." I smiled and took my food upstairs.
I almost dropped my food when I opened my door. I saw Kim waving at me on the other side of my balcony door. "What in the world are you doing here? How did you get here?"
"Sabi ko sayo may importante akong sasabihin. I knew you wouldn't go to school. Knowing how much you drank last night? Jeesh." he said, walking around the room like it was a museum tour. "Anyways, I knew how you came up to your room yesterday when I took you home. I also sneeked in as soon as the car left."
"Alam mo bang pwede kang makulong sa ginawa mo if someone saw you? You're so stupid." I said and closed the door. "Don't get annoyed, I have booze." he said and raised it up like we were celebrating.
