Chapter Forty Eight

Around 4 to 4:30, she got on the move and drove somewhere using Justin's car. She's been driving around and I did my best trying not get caught following her. To be honest, I'm doing a bad job. I'm surprised she hasn't realized yet.

Napunta na kami sa abandonadong lupa. We got away from the city, that's for sure. I was parked far away from her but I could still see the man he met.

I've been a sitting duck for too long. I need a plan. I can't just stay here and wait for something to happen. Should I text Justin? That's the only smart thing I could think of.

I opened my phone and notification from Kim just kept on ringing.

Napa sandal ako sa hand break at naramdamang may compartment pa pala dun. I opened it and there was the gun I was looking for.

It got dark and I heard a car getting near the place. My heart rate rose as I concluded that it could be one of Louise's men.

I looked at my side mirror and saw that the car door opened. You have a gun, Natalie. Good thing I watch a lot of movies.

I lowered my head and waited for the guy to come close. He was also holding a gun. Nakita niya na siguro na may tao sa loob ng sasakyan.
