Chapter 13 {Abnormal}

"Abnormal marked!" You had no thought what this "Abnormal" was. "What's an abnormal?" You bid one of your squad members. "Most don't pay heed to humans and are a little more capable than the ones we normally confront. Sometimes their aim isn't to consume humans, it's something else. But, we don't know what they're going for. Abnormals will get cleared of others who get in their way to get where they lack to go." a squad member described. You conceived: "I better be careful around abnormals." Your squad had to adjust their route while Hange took care of the abnormal. Your squad entered a titan forest, which made it simpler to use your ODM gear, but you all had to be extremely wary of the titans that crawled around the titan forest. Your horses were however using the same path as you all but were on the ground level. As you and your squad progressed from tree to tree, you saw another abnormal titan racing near your way. It was tearing down the trees up ahead, indicating that your squad had to modify your routes again. Your face pointed fear, but determination. Before you knew it, the abnormal seized you and you were fastened in its hand. One of your squad members surged back and stroke the titan's fingers off. "Grab on!" He said. You grasped onto his hand and thanked him. You were now centred on ascertaining more titans to get cleared of. In the end, you were able to take down 7 titans in total. "Keep on searching!" You had been querying where Hange was. "There's no way that other abnormal beat Hange..." You thought as a sweat drop dropped down your face. Minutes later, you heard a roar coming from the area Eren's squad was placed. "Eren?!" You looked back at your squad to get approval for hastening to Eren to keep him in restraint. They nodded. You hurried a way out of the forest and travelled east, where Eren's squad was located. On your way there, you faced an Abnormal. Your confidence disappeared, and no matter how many times you called your confidence back to you, it would decline to return. The Abnormal used its hand to hit you, and you crossed back into the forest. "Eren..." You weakly said his name, even though you grasped he couldn't hear you from the distance. "Where the hell is Y/N?!" Levi thought as he avoided the mayhem Eren's titan was forming. Levi couldn't manage Eren on his own. Mikasa and Armin sought, but failed to and almost ended up taking grave wounds. Armin succeeded to make his ODM gear stick onto Eren's titan and stabbed the front part of his neck. From that, Eren hauled himself out of his titan, and his titan began disposing of itself. Nevertheless, Eren was out cold. Mikasa carried his inanimate body and they recommenced their mission. Eren woke up moments later with a stiff neck. "I-Is our mission over?" He asked. Armin nodded gently. "W-Wait... Where's Y/N? Where's Hange's squad?" He asked Captain Levi. "Hange made it back from the fight with that abnormal her squad encountered, but Y/N was left behind."
