Chapter 20 {Bad Choices}

It wasn't a good plan. At all. The abnormal cuffed Hange, forcing her all the way back into the wall. And there Hange's body lay, bleeding out. 

Your hatred was notably much more than rage now. It's killed so many of your associates. You had no choice but to be rash at this point. Your titan howled, almost making the ground shake. As you howled, you ran headlong toward the abnormal. She tackled your punch, but you immediately used your other fist to punch her again while the other one repaired. Once she blocked that, you used your titan's knee to crash her right in the abdomen. That was the first time she hadn't tackled your attack. After kneeing her, you kicked her. Again, she didn't have enough time to think. 

You then discerned that you had done something so ridiculous and that you should've thought about it. Although, nobody could indict you for being so heedless at this point. Eren, Hange, and so many others were out cold. Possibly even dead. Both hands and one of your legs were missing. Your strokes and blows were so powerful, that when she blocked them, her firm skin made your hands and your leg come off. 

"What do I do?!" A rigour went right up your spine, and there was a cool purple effect on your face. The abnormal stared at you, and just by its stare you could hear it saying: "What are you gonna do now?" In the corner of your right eye, you could see Hange's bleeding body. In the corner of your left eye, you could see Mikasa and Armin trying to find a way to get Eren out of his titan. Views of this abnormal slaying and hurting your colleagues just crossed you so much. But you couldn't do anything about it. This titan was more robust than you. 

"I don't need my arms... Or my legs to fight it." You said, your voice sounding much flatter than usual. The abnormal confusingly looked at you, as you drove your head back. Its eyes intensified when your titan's head was forced ahead. Your titan's head hit the abnormal's head. You trusted that it would knock the abnormal right out. You sealed your eyes fixed as your titan's forehead hit the abnormal's forehead. But, you were tapped out instead. It was almost as if someone was operating, then crashed into a wall. 

The load of your head brought you down, and your titan commenced disposing of itself. You woke up, and it hadn't been too long since you were beaten out. You woke up as a human, no longer a titan. For some cause, you couldn't move a muscle. "Is this it? Am I going to die?" You panicked, but none of the alarms you were encountering was exhibited at all. Your face was stunned, colourless. Muted noises of massive footsteps came your way. You gazed at the sky another time, lastly accepting a death you were about to have. 

"Thank you. Eren." You susurrate very weakly, securing your eyes as you grinned with the abnormal's footsteps coming near you. 

The surviving scouts wouldn't let you die, and so they got on their horses and examined the scouts who went through the walls to see if they were active or not. Most were critically wounded, but at least they are breathing. Jean picked you up from the ground and sat you down on his horse. "What was I doing?! Was I really just going to take my death at that point?" You thought as you put your hand on your head, thinking like you weren't yourself anymore. "Y/N, are you alright?" "Y-Yes... I feel fine." Then it came to you. You raised your head upwards and looked behind you, seeing Eren's titan which transformed into bones. 

There was also Armin and Mikasa on their horses, with Eren set behind Armin on Armin's horse. You were satisfied. 

Something else came to you. It frightened you, and your tension rose overhead and beyond the chart. You hurriedly conveyed to ODM gear. "Y/N! What do you think you're doing?!" Eren cried angrily and shifted to ODM gear to hunt you down. 

While you were zipping through the air, you marked down, wishing that you wouldn't see your mother under a boulder, or half-eaten. You shattered open the front door of your house and rose to look around.
