Chapter 18 {Unusual}

The diminutive wave of wind blew your hair. A woman emerged from the nape of the titan. You gasped and hurried to help her. "You are going to be okay. Do you remember your name?" You urged the woman. The woman said her first and last name, and you told her to hold tight onto you. As she did, you progressed using your ODM gear and brought her somewhere safe. 

You went back to the scene where you and Eren departed to make sure he was okay. Once you reached, Eren had previously been in his titan form. "Eren! Can you hear me?!" You joined your ODM gear to his neck and stood on top of his shoulder. Since you were there, of course, he was in command of his titan. "Eren! I think I've found out a way to kill the titans, without killing them!" Eren was unclear, and since he was a titan, he couldn't address correctly. His return was just gazing at you from the corner of his eye. "How do I show him?" You queried. An idea jumped right into your head. He was able to understand what you were saying, he just couldn't say anything back. "Follow me Eren!" 

You said as you led him to a place where a titan was detected using your ODM gear. Eren gripped his fist and got inclined to pierce the titan, but you told him to stay still so that you could reveal him something. You stood in front of the titan. The titan discerned you since you were out in the open, and stooped down to grasp you, but you touched it's forehead before it could harm you. Eren saw you do everything, and he questioned: "What the hell is happening?" An expression of shock was shown on Eren's face once he saw a human pop out of the titan's nape. As you did with the other woman, you pulled the man out of the titan's nape and took him to safety. "Do you see it now Eren?!" You fully charged him once you returned. "I think... I think all these titans are humans! Humans who were compelled to turn into titans!" You bellowed, powerful enough for Eren to understand. 

You declared the word to the rest of the scouts and told each squad to accompany you so that you could show them what the titans really were. 

Though, the abnormals were the true difficulty. You weren't able to get near them, neither were you fit to even work to soothe them down. The only option was violence. Eren used the gap in the wall to exit past the walls and challenged the abnormals. You on the other hand used that rare ability you had on the normal titans. 

This ability awakens something inside of the titan, which would be the human. The human is forced to detach itself from its titan, which customarily is extracted from the nape. 

You discerned that Eren was being subjugated by the abnormals, and hastened over to help him. One abnormal bit Eren's arm off, which provoked you. "Leave him alone!" You cried and cut the back of the abnormal's foot, which made it fall over. You had to take over while Eren's arm healed. You were startled because titans were able to recover surprisingly very speedily. 

An abnormal was going after Eren while he was recuperating, and your first result was to rush over to him and kill that abnormal before it could get to him. I'm afraid you were way too focused on shielding Eren's titan that another abnormal took you from behind. The abnormal gripped you in its hand, almost breaking your bones. You screamed as it began squeezing you, and you could hear your bones shattering. "Y/N!" 

Then, you uprooted out your blade and cut your hand with it, making your titan arise right at the spot. As the scouts were working to guide the titans out of Trost, they remarked your titan. Your titan screeched as it booted off the head of the abnormal which was charging Eren while his titan's arm was still healing. "This is... This is Y/N's titan!" Eren stated, amazed when he saw you use your titan ability. He never thought you'd need to use it again, but he conceded you obliged to since you were about to get your bones pulverized.
