Chapter 2 {The Boy From Earlier}

On your way to your home, you saw everyone gathered up in a huge circle, and determined to see what it's about. "You go apologize to her right now!" You saw that boy you met earlier, punching the other boy who was bullying you. "Haha! You're not so mighty when you don't have your other guys!" the boy screamed again. "Eren! I'm so sorry everyone!" The boy's mother pulled his arm and pulled him away to their home. 

You then went onward the path to your house. "I'm home, mother!" You called, coping to settle the wood on the table. "What took so long, Y/N?" You sighed and queried if you should tell her that you're being bullied. "I went to collect additional sticks for a farmer! He needed them!" You lied and went outside to play in the field. 

You threw a ball in the air and caught it with your hands. "Can I play?" That boy from earlier requested. "Yes of course!" You graciously said and tossed the ball back and forth at the boy. "Your name is Eren, right?" You spoke. "How'd you know my name?" "Your mother said it when she drew you away from that bully." You threw the ball at him, but he didn't throw it back to you. "You were there?" He asked, and you replied: "I was." He threw the ball to you and blushed. "So, what's your name?" "Y/N." You answered. 

"Y/N! Dinner's ready!" Your father called out. "Oh I see, she's made a friend!" Your mother said, looking at you and Eren pass the ball to each other. "I've gotta eat dinner now, but I'll see you around Eren!" You joyously said and ran home to eat dinner. "Okay!" Eren screamed loud for you to hear. 

At the dinner table, your mother asks you: "Y/N, who was that boy you were playing with earlier?" "Oh him? His name is Eren. He asked to play ball with me." Your mother and father looked at each other with smiles on their faces. 

At age 7, your father contracted an uncommon illness that brought him breathing problems. This lured you away from Eren. You hadn't seen or communicated with Eren in weeks because you had been taking care of your father for most of the time you used up. You went outside to buy your father some bread and saw Eren. 

"Oh Y/N! I haven't seen you for weeks! What's up?!" Eren said as he greeted and ran to you. "My father's been sick lately, and I haven't gotten out of the house because I'm taking care of him so much." You explained to Eren while you picked up the bread and put it in your bucket. "Hey, I know! My dad's an experienced doctor! He can treat your dad!" Eren cheerfully said. "Really?" You said with a smile on your face. 

Eren ran home to get his father, and you ran home to give your father bread. "Hello, I am Dr. Yeager." he acquainted himself. A few days later, your father started operating again, and his breathing obstacles vanished. "Thank you so much, Dr. Yeager! What can I do to pay you back?!" Your mother said as she wept with joy.
