"Well you were unconscious ,an attack was launched on the city . We tried to hold them back but they broke the walls down ... We managed to get them out of the city but ... " Sapphire said

I knew what she was gonna say and I didn't want to hear it if the defects got into the city then that means the first line of houses were attacked ... " My family they're ok right ? " She didn't answer .. "right ?? " I asked again .
" Haelynn ..." She started but suddenly the door opened and a messenger walked in .

"Soldier Colin the commanders wish to speak with you privately . " Before I have a chance speak he tosses me some clothes and leaves .

"We should go ." Jamison spoke . As he got ready to leave . "But ..." I start " I'll talk to you later sapphire said as she carefully placed a kiss on my head and walked out after jamison . I change into the outfit I was given my body still aches but I can move around better now my outfit is a plain white dress ... Strange I thought colors were forbidden to where white once they got abilities . I walk to the door slowly as if I feel something bad will happen if I leave this room ...

After I leave I make my way to the meeting room . they're probably gonna tell me what I don't wanna hear ...
A terrifying thought flashes through my head . My mother's blood splattered on the ground, hero whimpering . My grandmas lifeless body resting at the dining room table .

I shake my head as if to get rid of this sickening thought and soon I find myself waiting at the door . I'm About to knock when the door flies open and I'm embraced in a tight hug I'm finally released and I see bexleys face it looks as if she's been crying .

" The messenger sent me I say as I look at the rest of them . " I'm glad your alright . " Bree says . As she too comes to hug me . "I'm sorry i say but can someone tell me what's going on ? " I ask they look at me carefully as if Ill shatter into a billion tiny pieces if they look at me wrong .

"Sapphire didnt tell you ?!" Bexley asks almost shocked . Slot of them appear upset . Except for brynnley who seems angry .
" She mentioned the attack but she didn't have time for anything else ." Brynnley grabs my arm and leads me to an empty chair .

"Haelynn we lost many people on the day of then attack both soldiers and civilians . Houses and buildings were destroyed . Including yours . Im sorry . " She started crying

soon I feel tears running down my cheeks as well but not of sadness of .. anger this is all their fault they are supposed to protect the city it's their job how could they let this happen !!!!!

" HOW COULD YOU LET THIS HAPPEN YOU DID THIS ALL OF YOU DID THIS !!!! "I scream "WE DEPEND ON YOU AND YOU LET THEM ATTACK THE CITY !!! YOU ARE THE REAL MONSTERS !!!"

" Haelynn we know your upset right now but you need to calm down " bree tries to tell me . " No don't you see this is what I told you about she's never gonna be a good soldier if she has outbursts like this all the time . " Brynnley tells them

" Brynnley she just lost her family . Have a little bit of sympathy . "
Zach says .

" Listen everyone this is a dangerous game were playing we could risk everything we have if we keep her here ." My mind is too shocked to realize what's happening is she really that ready to get rid of me . ??
