Code 13 part of a code system created years ago when all of this first started the original colors created a code originally made to make sure none of the defects were walking among us however over time it changed into a thirteen part system that would use a number of ways to punish those who broke the rules of the city council most of them painful . However thirteen out weighs them all this particular code was created to kill someone and it was only demonstrated when you had done something so unforgivable that there was no other option . The rules of this code are simple whoever was in question is dragged out of the city in chains and is forced to fend off all the defects that swarm around them until eventually the victim stops fighting and the defects take the body away . This code has not been used for a long time along with the others most people forgot it existed .

"Are you insane!!!!??? " bexley screamed . I can barely react before brynnley fires back at her . " how else will we address the problem . !!!" " perhaps we should speak about this privately " zach chimed in . And before I know it I'm waiting outside the door staring at the wall thinking about what's gonna happen to me on the plus side I'll be with my parents my grandparents ,hero and cassidy . But on the downside I'll never avenge them and I would also leave sapphire and jamison .

I can hear faint shouts coming from the meeting room . Must be bad in there . A memory flashes through my head suddenly from when I was little ...

"Best interests !!! Please Eric you can't be serious !! You'll get killed !! " My mother yelled in the kitchen
" Listen to me we could save our family we could get a bigger house and when she turns 18 we can pay brynnley to look the other way . " " Mommy why are you and daddy arguing " I asked as I stumbled into the kitchen " oh haelynn honey what are you doing up ??" She asked not expecting me to have been awake " I had a nightmare " I answered

My dad picked me up and held me close " want me to scare it away " I remember how terrified I was when he said that " no daddy you can't I won't let you the lady with red hair will kill you please don't do it " I screamed at him and hugged him tighter . I don't remember exactly what happened after that I assume I fell asleep .

It clicks in my head suddenly brynnley! There was something dad knew about brynnley !! And he didn't want me to get caught up in it !!

Suddenly the door bursts open and I see bexley motioning for me to come closer . "I'm so sorry I tried to stop this " she whispers before giving me a huge hug . If she's upset that means ... Im never going home .
