31. Fear & Pain

Lam's P.O.V. ~

I heard the shout and bang from Forth's room and before I could go there I saw a fuming Forth going out of the house without having breakfast.

I tried to talk to him many times these past days when I got to know that he is behaving badly but he totally shut me off.

It is the first time that his walls are so high that even I couldn't reach beyond that. He wasn't like that even that time when he almost lost everything.

Yeah he became cold and heartless but I was always there to hold him and he let me but this time.. He didn't. Whatever it is which is bothering him is huge and I need to find that out but first I have to check on Beam.

He is like a mess these days because of Forth. I know Forth is hurt but he is hurting Beam pretty badly too..

I quickly ran and opened the door and saw Beam was on floor crying weakly hugging himself.

He looked at me and I know he hoped that I was Forth who came to him because of all the sadness in his eyes and disappointment on his face.

"Beam.." I couldn't utter more and ran to hug him. He hugged me back tightly and started crying with hiccups and abnormal breathes.

"I'm.. I'm sorry.. I couldn't make him stay.. I couldn't..I did whatever I could but I failed.. I don't want him to love me back.. but just.. Don't push me away from his life.. I want to be there for him atleast as long as I can.. I will leave when the time comes.. It hurts a lot Lam.. It hurts.." He tried finishing his sentence in between his sobs.

"Oh God please stop crying.. Beam.. I'm so gonna beat that bastard.. Come on you need to rest you have become so weak.. Did you even sleep.." I picked him up from floor and made him to lie in bed and tucked him up. He was so exhausted that he was almost asleep.

Poor kid.. He doesn't deserve all this shit..

"Fuck you Forth.. No matter what the reason is .. This time you messed up and you have to talk to me today.." I mumbled with fury looking at the person in front of me who was in deep sleep now.

I quietly closed the door and came out of his room and went to meet Nate. I instructed him to let Beam have rest and when he wakes up to give him proper breakfast and medicines.

I came into living room and Aunty was there worried too.

"What's happening Lam.. I'm scared.. I noticed them a little off but I thought maybe it's just them arguing or bickering like usual but I don't know anymore..I asked Beam but he just smiles and says everything is fine but I don't believe it. Is it something serious.?" She asked me with her curious and worried stare.

"No aunty it's nothing.. Just usual lovers quarell. They will be fine don't worry." I lied to her.. She has just been fully healthy and I don't want to give her unusual stress.

Whatever it is I'll deal with it myself.

3rd Person P.O.V. ~

"I fucking ordered to clear the floor and no one to enter my office." Forth yelled in anger sitting on his office chair looking outside the glass wall giving his back to the door.

He was holding a bottle of beer in his right hand which was bruised like he punched something very hard. He was having alcohol in the broad daylight and there were so many bottles on his table and on the floor.. Some were empty some were still full.

He became furious when he heard the door opening and turned to yell more when he found an equally angry Lam looking at him sharply.

"Leave Me Alone." Forth hissed with his gritted teeth. His red swollen eyes were glaring but a visible proof of that he was crying.
