9. Proposal

3rd Person P.O.V. ~ 

 

Friday at 9 p.m. 

"Beam Baramee.. Will you marry me.?" Forth asked.

"Excuse me..? What the.." Beam replied.

Four days ago ~

"You want me to do what.?" Forth screamed in his room.

"You heard me right. I want you to marry Beam. Just.. Just listen to me first will you.? I told you that you won't like my idea." Lam said.

"Yeah I won't because it's insane. Did your friend didn't fuck you last night that you have gone mad.?" Forth said irritatingly.

"No.. He fucked me so good that my mind has started working properly." Lam said grinning.

"Okay just listen to me first then you can decide what do you want to do." He added.

"Fine.. I will just listen but don't expect me to follow your crazy plan.." Forth finally agreed to listen.

"Yeah sure." Lam said.

"You know how things were before Beam came right.? How aunty was... I don't know how and I don't care but Beam changed all of this. The atmosphere of this house.. the health of your mother and don't you dare to deny that he changed you a little too. Maybe only for himself but somehow you have added him in your trust worthy people." Lam started explaining what was in his mind.

" I know all of this. What's your point.?" Forth asked him.

They both were sitting on the couch in Forth's room facing each other while having this argument.

" My point is that it is all temporary. He is in his second year in medical. He will do his internship in one year and maybe he will do the specialisation for two more years and after that he will become a fine neurosurgeon and would be able to live on his own. All these things will take almost 5 to 6 years." Forth was listening confusedly. He didn't get how all of this is relatable to Lam's crazy idea.

"He won't need this job or your money after sometime and will leave for sure and when he leaves you will regret for the rest of your life. Aunty loves him you know that. If you will marry him she will become more than happy. It's like her last wish in this lifetime to see you getting married and having a family. She has lost so much too don't you think.? Beam cares for her just like her mother. I am sure he will agree too if you talk to him and tell him everything. He is a nice person." Lam explained to Forth.

" I understand what you are trying to say but it's not right. You know I won't fall in love with anyone.. I can't. It won't be right for Beam. I won't do this to him. He has his own life he should live it. I can't give what he deserves. I can't use him for my selfishness. I know maybe he will say yes for Mom but that's not right to him. What do you want me to do.? Just marry him on papers and then live like a stranger.? He doesn't deserve this. He doesn't deserve me." Forth said slowly bowing his head down.

"That's exactly what I want you to do. Just marry him on the papers. I told you that it will take him almost five to six year for almost settling down. So just marry him for five years. I will make a contract. Just take it as a business deal Forth. It will be beneficial for both of you. You will get a happy family for Mom and he will get the payment for this act to support his studies. Maybe not for the money but he will say yes for your Mom I'm sure." Lam explained to Forth.

"What.?? And what after 5 years huh.? What will I say to Mom.?" Forth asked suprisingly. He couldn't take in what Lam was telling him. He is just too shocked.
