10. Yes or No

Beam's P.O.V. ~

Am I dreaming.? Or I have traveled to a different Universe when I opened the door. This hottie is seriously bad for my heart. He always gives me heart attack with his random comments. Marriage..? What the hell is going on in his mind.

I was stunned at my feet. I didn't know what to do or say. My mind is not working.

"Geez Forth.. You scared the hell of him. Couldn't you explain him everything before bombing the question." Lam said to Hottie and came closer to us.

"Let's sit down before I tell you what we actually want to ask you. This fucking friend of mine has become a moron." He added pointing to Forth.

"Shut up.. I was about to explain him ok.." Forth replied Lam.

"Yeah.. After giving him a heart attack. Now let's sit." Lam said and we sat on the couch. He was sitting beside me and Forth sat front of us.

My mind was running in every insane direction. He wants to marry me.? Me.? why.? I mean he doesn't like or love me that's for sure so why..?

"Beam" Lam said putting his right hand on the back of my left hand.

"Ahemmm" Forth cleared his throat looking sideways.

Lam lifted his both hands in the air with the palm facing him.

"Calm down Forth.. I'm not snatching him away." He said.

I don't know what's going on or why are they behaving so strangely. I just want to know the fucking answer that why he wants to marry me. The curiosity is killing me.

All this time my heart was beating so fast I could feel the thumping in my chest.

"What is all this Lam.? I don't understand." I gained my confidence and asked somehow.

"Beam.. We.. Umm.. Forth wants to marry you.. it's true. But before you say anything just listen to us first ok." He asked amd I nodded my head in affirmation that they can continue whatever they have to say.

Forth looked at me and said.. "Beam.. first of all I am so thankful to you that you came in our life. You don't know we almost lost all our hopes 3 months ago. We did everything for Mom.. We tried everything but all was in vain but then you came. I don't know how you did it but you reached to her heart somehow and she again became the lively and cheerful lady she was."

"She was suffering because of me because how I am.. I have given her too much stress but you made her happy. I..I just don't want you to leave. I know you have a life you have a future but you are still studying. You have 5-6 years before you totally would be able to stand on your own. I just need that much time of your life. I just want her to see her son getting married and having a family. I know I am lying to her in a way.. I am the worst.. but.. I just I don't have any other trust me." He told me and was almost shivering because of how much emotions and pressure he was bearing right now.

He was somehow looking so fragile like this. He was nowhere the fierce CEO he becomes in his office. He is scared.

I wanted to hug him right now. My heart was melting looking at him like that.

"Beam" Lam said and I looked at him. "We know you have your own life and we we won't ever pressure you for that. We will still be there for you even if you say no but trust me if you say yes.. aunty will be the happiest woman on earth. She loves Forth and you so much. You are already a family for her. Don't worry you are not forced into the marriage. It will all be professional and we will have a contract for 5 years and you can have anything you want in return. Just name it and you will have it. Just think about it like a job. Not for me or Forth but for her. Please think about it."
