Chapter 15

After dinner everyone sat down to watch a movie. We popped some popcorn, and settled down onto the couch and chairs. It wasn't really interesting to me so I was talking to Peter.

"MJ sounds amazing. School not so much though."

"School sucks. Don't ever go to school."

"Don't corrupt her Peter. She's gonna go to school eventually." Tony cut in. I groaned. From what I had heard, I didn't want to go to school at all. Soon the conversation turned to people. I overheard Steve telling Bucky that Sam was coming tomorrow.

"Who's Sam?"

"Another Avenger, you haven't met him."

"Well is there anyone else I haven't met?"

"Sam."

"Rhodey."

"Thor."

"Geeks of the Galaxy, or whatever they're called."

"T'Challa and Shuri."

"Vision."

"Scott."

"Carol."

"Anyone else?"

"Uh that's a lot of people."

"Yeah most of them live other places but they visit from time to time. We actually have a meeting tomorrow, for who knows what, so you'll meet them all."

"Uh great."

"Oh and Fury. He's not really an avenger he's just kind of the one who gives orders." So there were still a lot of people to meet. Tomorrow would come soon and with the sleep I would not get, it would be even worse. I rubbed my forehead.

"You ok Cami? Headache still?"

"No I'm fine Bruce." He looked at me skeptically. "I promise."

"Alright well it's getting late. With what just happened and everyone coming tomorrow, you should get some sleep." Not gonna happen. But I nodded and went to my room, changing into pjs and lying in bed. I laid there for two hours, until 1 am, and then got up. I made myself coffee and turned on the tv, careful not to wake anyone up. I finished my coffee quick and was getting bored with the tv, so I decided to wander the tower. I had never gone to the lower floors before, and I wanted to see what it looked like.

"Friday?"

"Yes Cami?" I winced at how loud it was.

"Could you maybe turn the volume down a little? And could you take me to the lower floors?"

"Of course." She said, in a quieter voice. "I must warn you, everyone is coming tomorrow, would you not like to get sleep?"

"I'm not tired but thanks for asking Friday."

"Alright Cami." She showed me to the lower floors and I wandered around, amazed by how many floors this tower had. There were at least 10 intern floors and by 5 I had explored all of them. I went back upstairs to the top floor, an abandoned one and looked at the sunrise. I didn't realize how long I had been up there u til I saw three figures fly to the tower, landing on the roof. Then two figures came down in a rush of rainbow lights, one of which I recognized as Loki. Then two ships landed on the grass, groups of people coming out of them. These must be the other Avengers. I looked at the time and saw that it was now 7. Shoot. Oh well, I can wait some more. I watched the city rush by, everyone going their own ways. Eventually I got bored, and went down, to find a room of chaos.

"What do you mean she's not in her bed?!"

"We lost her?!"

"Have you checked everywhere?"
