Cami's POV
"What do you mean only two years of your life?"

"One day, I woke up on the streets. I was 12 and I couldn't remember anything about my past. Luckily Shoe and Dobie found me." I said.

"Ok then?"

"And also. Um, I think I might have superpowers."

"What makes you think that?"

"Before you found me, I was so mad. At the world, at my friends deaths, that I punched a wall. But my hand didn't break, the wall did. And when I looked down, I was camouflaged into the wall." She thought for a minute.

"Ok. Here's what we're going to do. You'll stay here for a couple days, just to heal up. Then you can meet the others. We'll get you a new leg, and we can figure this out."

"Ok."

"Now get some rest." She walked out and left me there with my thoughts. I sat there, trying not to cry. As soon as I was about to drift off, I heard a thunk in the vents. And out of them, dropped a man.

"What the heck?!" I yelled.

"Shh. Quiet! I'm Clint, or Hawkeye."

"You're an Avenger."

"Yep. I was wondering about you."

"What about me?"

"Who are you?"

"My name's," I paused, should I give him my full name, or just Cami? "Cami, I'm Cami."

"Well Cami, we're going to have fun." He pulled out a deck of cards. "Want to play?" So we did, all the two player games he could think of. And then the lights flickered on.

"What did I tell you Clint?" Nat sighed.

"Oops."

"Nat please let him stay, we're having fun." She looked over at me.

"Fine. As long as I can play."

As the days went by, I was visited by Nat and Clint. I got to know Bruce and Dr. Strange too, since they came to check up on me. Today was the day I was let out of bed. Bruce handed me crutches and I wobbled on my one foot. It was weird, to say the least. We went to the elevator and went up to the top floor. We came out, and I hobbled into the large room. It was amazing, it had couches and a huge tv on one wall. I sat down, and waited for them to come. I flipped on the tv and found a movie to watch. It was just at the good part.

"Well I told you not to touch it!"

"Well I wanted to!"

"Seriously how dumb could you be?"

"You told me not to, so I had to."

"Honestly." They were all bickering, I wasn't paying much attention because of the movie. I didn't notice them all stop talking, and start whispering. I was thirsty, so I got up into my crutches and headed toward the kitchen. But as I did, I lost my balance. I fell, waiting for the impact, but it never came. I opened my eyes, and saw that someone had caught me. I readjusted my crutches so I was standing and fell back onto the couch.

"So you're the kid?" A short guy with a goatee asked.

"Mm hm." I turned back to my movie. The tv flicked off. "Hey I was watching that!"

"Yeah well we need to ask you questions." Captain America said.

"Look, Captain. There this thing called multitasking, I'm sure you've heard of it. I would've listened to you, but you haven't even asked me a question." I pried the remote from his hands and turned the tv back on. The short guy and Clint burst out laughing.

"I like her already." The short guy said.

"So who are you?" I asked. He gasped.

"You don't know who I am? Well I'm Tony Stark." I shook my head. "Iron man?"

"Nope."

"Geez kid were you living under a rock?"

"No, just in alleys." Everyone went silent.

"Oh sorry kid."

"Eh whatever. Not that bad when you get used to it." Then Cap started the hard questions.

"So what's your name?"

"Cami."

"Where'd you get that scar?" He pointed at the scar that ran from the edge of my lip to my chin."

"I don't remember." Everyone frowned at that.

"And you were there at the bombing?"

"Does the missing leg not tell you anything? Of course I was at the bombing. So were my only two friends, but of course, just like my leg, they're gone." Nat put a hand on my shoulder.

"Sorry." I said.

"It's fine kid, we all know how it feels. Now can you start from the beginning?" So I told them everything. From the moment I woke up in an alley, with no memory, to getting found by Shoe and Dobie after getting beat up. Then all our adventures, then I got to the bad part.

"We were just staying there for the night. The next morning we got up and we were about to leave when Shoe heard a rumbling. I realized it too late. I shouted for them to hide, take cover, but they got the message too late. I managed to hide, but then a man came. He was talking in Russian, and he looked for me, so I pretended I was dead. Then he said 'it is done' and left. That's when I found them dead," my breath caught. "and I ran into the alley where Nat found me." I had rendered them all speechless. Then a man in the back, I hadn't even noticed him, he whispered,

"Hydra." We all turned to look at him. He looked strangely familiar.

"You think so?" Cap asked.

"Who else could it be?" The man came into the light and I saw him. He had a metal arm and long hair. My breath caught.

"Bucky?" I stammered out.

"How do you know my name?" He asked. I searched for the answer, but it was blank.

"I don't know. It just popped up." I put my head in my hands. I just wanted my memories back. They turned their attention away from me, and started talking about Hydra. But the more they said the name, the more my brain became muddled. I pounded my forehead, trying to get the memories. Images rushed though my mind faster than I could process. I saw glimpses of fighting, blood, needles, and... Bucky. Then all of the images were gone. I yelled in exasperation, tears pricking my eyes, and pounded my fist against the couch. But, the couch broke under my fist, tearing off the back of it. I stared at my fist, and my new friends.

"Oops."
