Harry's Pov

I froze, letting my hand slip from my hold of the railing as I stared at James, who's face was now set into a grim frown. I felt my face drain of color as his words hit me.

"What?" I breathed out, my body suddenly feeling drained.

"Listen we don't know everything for sure. According to some of my family's journals, they found the prophecy or curse and translated it because it was in a different language. It is said the one chosen by the white wisp is called the Child of Light. If the Child of Light's power is not awakened, its said they must submit to darkness or die when the moon disappears," James explained. It took a moment for his small explanation to hit me.

"When the moon disappears...the lunar eclipse," I said finally. "Thats by the end of the summer."

James nodded. "Yes, but we don't know for sure what will happen. There could be a loophole to this curse. It has only happened twice to the other white wisp heroes so we know it doesn't effect every generation."

"What happened to them?" I choked out, feeling overwhelmed with the sudden knowledge.

"Well one of them went insane with the darkness. Your opposite, Ashes, is what helped the hero turn to suicide. Ashes is one who is like a second host to the darkness but we don't know exactly what this darkness is. The last time it happened was when the last heroes sealed the villians and the wisps for two centuries, when they sacrificed their bodies," James explained.

I felt tears prickle my eyes and I turned away. I don't know how I was suppose to feel right now. I crossed my arms, trying to make myself invisible but failing.

"I-i...need some time," I choked out, my voice small. "To be a-alone."

"Of course. I'm so sorry Harry. But let me tell you this. We are still translating the curse because we found out that the wisps have awakened. There is still a chance your power could come to you," James said in all sincererity. I shook my head at his apology, waving it away but considering his other words. I don't want to get my hopes high but at least there's something.

"We have many guests rooms here and we've been talking for so long, its late now. I can let Eleanor show you to one?" James asked tentatively. I nodded as a tear slipped, still not meeting his eyes, my own gazing at the ground.

"Eleanor? Could you show him to the guest rooms? I'll deal with the other boys," James called out. My head shot up. They would ask for me and I really wanted to be alone right now.

"James," I stepped towards the man. "Don't let them come to my room. I want to be alone."

James nodded understandingly. "I won't. Just take some time. I'm sorry for this."

I shook my head. "Thank you for explaining and for letting us stay here. If there's anymore information you need to tell us, tell the boys and they'll tell me."

James nodded his thanks and muttered a 'good night'. Eleanor came to my side and she lead me out of the training area.

I followed her silently, replaying James's words over and over in my head. Tears slipped down my face as I curled into myself, keeping my gaze on Eleanor's feet. We turned down another hallway and it was more open. There were six doors lined down the hallway meeting another wall at the end of it.

"Here are some of the guest rooms. You can pick which one you'd like," Eleanor waved at them. "Have a goodnight Harry."

She gave me a sympathetic smile and I muttered my thanks. She left, going back into the direction of the training room, leaving me alone. I scurried over to the farthest room on the left side and walked in.
