Chapter 5 What do we do?

Liam's Pov

I knew I was being too serious for my liking but I mean come on. Those wisps gave us powers! Straight after Harry made us breakfast, it was around 10:30 or so and we went out again, back to the meadow to try and find our new powers like Harry suggested.

It was a bit weird to me that Harry didn't feel the same way like me and the other lads. How different we all knew we felt after last night even though we all got touched by the wisps.

I so gone in my thoughts, as we walked away from our flat once again into the small field, when I felt a tug on my hand that broke me from my trance.

"What do you think of this? Powers?" Zayn asked.

"I'm really not sure. Yeah it's a big shock but I'm sure it'll be cool as time goes on," I sighed. I was honest. I really thought the idea of having powers could be cool but really dangerous. I mean what if somebody finds us with our powers? Would we be turned into experiments? I really don't want that for the lads or for Zayn.

"Is there something bothering you?" He asked softly, his honey brown eyes, that I adore, glittering. I didn't want to say anything, didn't want to worry him but I couldn't say no to his concerned eyes.

"Yeah. Its just I don't want people finding out about our powers and then end up being experiments," I said slowly.

Zayn nodded with a thoughtful look. "You're right. I don't want that to happen to us. But we'll be careful, you know?"

I looked away because I really hope we do be careful. "I hope we do."

After our small conversation was done, we fell into a comfortable silence. The other lads picked up their speed, falling into step beside us as we broke through the tree edge into the woods. The trees around us covered us completely, separating a little bit to form the small path.

I lead the way to our meadow through the dark woods, despite the sun shining, being that it was mid morning close to afternoon. Nobody talked but I bet everyone's blood was pumping. Or at least, mine was.

I let out a sigh as I see our meadow and I broke through the trees to meet the light. I squinted my eyes, letting them adjust, walking further into the meadow. I turned back towards the lads.

"Ok...so now what?" I asked, my nerves buzzing. Harry walked out to stand near the middle. Zayn stood next to me while Louis stood next to Harry and Niall next Louis. I looked towards Harry, the others following my lead, as he looked about, biting his lip in thought.

"Well...Zayn was provoked into using his power. Could you maybe try to do it again?" He looks at Zayn with slight hopefulness in his voice while Zayn held nerves.

Niall's Pov

Zayn clearly looked nervous to try it again. I couldn't really blamed him. I mean he flung a huge book at Harry! He was shakened by it too. But I bet if we learn control, this would be so much cooler! I couldn't wait and I was buzzing with excitement.

"Come on, Zayn!" I looked towards the nervous midnight haired lad. "You can do it!"

My words and Liams touch seemed to relax him a bit.

"But...where would I even start?" He asked, looking towards Harry. Harry seemed to be the one who understands without actually knowing what to do or how it feels. To be honest, he's more of the wisest one in the group. Maybe even the most confidant when he's not shy.

"Um..." Harry bit his lip again. "Well how do you feel now after you used your power?"

He directed the question to both Louis and Zayn, who looked at each other.
