Liam's Pov

We turned away from the empty spot where the villains had stood before Matthew had whisked them away with panting breaths.

The police shouted and called at the people who had started dispersing, cameras and reporters running around. I caught a look from one and they started to hurry towards me and the lads.

"Guys, we gotta get a move on," I breathed, coming closer to our little group. Louis turned and started to walk to where he had left Harry to the hands of the officers.

"There's no way we could take Harry back. I can't carry him all the way back to Doncaster and I'm sure he wouldn't want to walk," Louis murmured quietly as more reporters and cameras zoomed in on us. We hummed in agreement, quickly picking up our pace with Louis.

"Hey! Heroes, please can I get a statement?" One reporter jogged up to us. Their cameraman rudely shoved the camera up in Louis's face along with the reporter who thrusted her mic up to our own.

Louis's eyes started to simmer but luckily one officer caught the action.

"Hey! Back away ma'am," the officer thankfully scurried over and pushed the reporter and cameraman away.

"I wasn't speaking to you officer. Please heroes, just a little bit of your time?" The reporter begged, batting her eyelashes in a way that seemed too inappropriate for an invite to an interview.

The action made me irritated. Did the reporter not just watched what had happened a moment ago?

"No, thanks. We don't have time and we must really be on our way," Louis said shortly but luckily not in a rude way before pushing past the blonde reporter straight to the police.

The reporter's reaction was priceless and thankfully she didn't retort back. The officer kept the woman and camera back while we followed him, nodding our thanks.

As we neared the barricade of cop cars, many officers were blocking hordes of people, cameras and other news reporters who all wanted to talk to us or just catch a look of us. I heard begging people, shouting for autographs and pictures. I shook my head with an amused twitch to my lips.

If only they knew that we were just ordinary people like them.

"Haz," Louis called out suddenly jogging over to a near cop car. The door was opened and we jogged up to catch Louis. I caught sight of the inside of the car and saw Harry.

He was slouched down in the seat, skin pale. His eyes were heavy and dull, mouth and nose covered in dry blood.

He really overworked himself. I thought, taking him in.

"Haz, how are you feeling?" Louis asked softly, leaning down with a hand on top of the roof of the car. Despite being seemingly exhausted, Harry's eyes brightened at Louis.

He gave a small smile. "Tired."

We all chuckled lightly and his eyes dragged to where me, Niall and Zayn stood crowded behind Louis.

"Hey, lads," his smile grew and he made move to sit up but winced.

"Are you sure good, mate?" Niall asked lightly. Harry chuckled, leaning back against the seat of the car once again.

"It took a number on me. Moving hurts," Harry sighed, eyes slipping closed. We understood the meaning behind what he meant, what he had did.

Louis took a heavy breath. "I don't know how we're gonna get you home. We didn't exactly take a car."

He hummed thoughtfully. "I've made a call for that actually. Layla, John and Neil should be here any time."

"How'd you get their number?" Zayn asked, amused. Harry's head lulled to us.
