Harry's Pov
As soon as I left the lab, I headed straight for London. Based on the computer screen and footage from the cameraman, they seemed to be near where we had last fought the villains before.
I had to be careful though. I wanted the element of surprise.
So I didn't use much of my power, only enough to get me as far as the outskirts of London. The red and blue lights, along with drifting smoke and booms of falling buildings led me close. From where I hid, I couldn't see any of the lads or their powers.
Until, an inferno of flames exploded blue in line of my sight. People surrounded the area, but far enough away to be safe, gasped.
I quickly ducked away from the people so near, not wanting them to see me yet. I know Louis always loves for a good dramatic entrance so that's what I was gonna give them because this time, I had a plan.
Though the lads didn't know about it. Not yet at least.
Using my light, wisps coiled around my legs to make them stronger and faster. I took a sprint, eyes adjusting quickly to my surroundings as I zoomed by.
I got close, near the building where I had seen the blue flames. They had died quickly though but thankfully into a thick fog of smoke.
As I got closer, I slowed down when I heard talking. I couldn't hear the words but that made me get even closer to where the lads did stand. I now could see them.
Zayn supported Liam, holding him around the shoulders. I could see blood through his suit but I didn't let that make me panic, knowing that if he was awake, he was fine. Niall also had some showing injuries but he stood tall.
Then I saw Louis. He stood at the front of it, hand out stretched towards the billowing smoke. His eyes were burning fiercely but I knew, he had used too much of his power when he unleashed most of that fire.
When the smoke cleared, I waited to see the villains. Mala and Slin helped Matthew to his feet while Iris watched us with violet eagle eyes. I grinned seeing Matthew burned and coated with cuts and blood. Louis had really showed him.
Matthew growled. "You're going to die for that."
I shifted on my feet, uneasy by the words but ready to jump in. Louis opened his mouth to retort back and I got ready, my light flickering inside of me. I could feel the dark presence perked at the sight of the villains but so far it was tamed with me since I had the stones too.
"Bring it, then." Louis snapped back, his fire flaring up though weaker than I've ever seen it before. The villains flared their powers up too and that's when I moved.
The light wrapped around my legs made me move faster than the speed of light as I zoomed right past in front of them. My eyes helped me the greatest and it felt like time slowed down as I ran past them, shooting out my palm and exploding blinding light at them.
The light didn't blind me and I heard multiple shouts. I zoomed right back around again to face both the lads and the villains before stopping completely. The light faded around my legs as I stood tall.
The white light finally faded out, returning the vision back to the lads and villains. They caught sight of me and the villains' eyes widened in shock with a hint of fear while the lads' only held awe.
I stepped forward with a mocking brow and looked around. "Love what you done with the place."
My tone was heavily sarcastic which matched my equally bored face but really inside, rage was a swirling storm that I welcomed and honed into a blade to soon use.
