Day 20: Write a scene that involves an unnamed baby
Josie walked through the field on her way home from school. She didn’t know what made her take this route today, but she thought it would be a good idea to trust her instincts.
And boy, was she right.
She saw an impression in the tall grass a couple yards away, and she curiously went over to investigate. What she found was a large black bag.
“Please don’t be a dead body.” She whispered to herself, heartbeat picking up. She kneeled down and slowly zipped open the bag, a horrified gasp escaping her mouth. It wasn’t a dead body, but somehow what was actually inside was much, much worse.
It was a crying baby.
