Day 10

Day 10: Write a short scenario set in the kitchen of a fast-food restaurant.

Kellin sighed, leaning against the counter. Another fifteen minutes of waiting for a batch of chicken nuggets he wouldn’t be able to eat. And after work he had nothing to look forward to but being alone. Which didn’t exactly sound all too appealing that day.

“Hey Kellin…” Patty trailed off, walking over to where Kellin was waiting.

“Hey Patty, what’s up?”

“What are you doing anything after work?” Kellin’s heart fluttered.

“Absolutely nothing. Why?”

“Do you wanna catch a movie together?” Patty asked sheepishly. His cheeks were bright red, and Kellin thought it was the cutest thing ever.

“Sounds great, Patty.”
