Day 11

Day 11: Make up and write about a near-death experience

Andy and Harriett were walking with a couple of their friends downtown, goofing around and having a laugh. It was a Friday, so they didn’t have to be home by a specific time.

“Hey, who wants some fro-yo?” Jade asked. There were sounds of agreement throughout the group and they decided to cross the street there, too lazy to walk all the way to the end of the street at the crosswalk. Andy and Harriett were the last to go, and Andy was ahead of her. As they ran to the parking lot a car came and stopped inches before Harriett, who jumped out of the way and laughed in fear as she ran over to her friends.

“Dude you almost died!” Jade laughed.

“Are you alright?” Andy asked.

“I’m fine, let’s just get some fro-yo.”

This may or may not be based on a true story... I'm a bit of a klutz.
