Day 12: Write about a sleep-deprived character

Harriett got very giggly when she was sleep deprived. Anything made her dissolve into giggles, and she got a dopey smile on her face. Luke loved taking advantage of this fact, the cheeky brown-haired dork.

They were in his hotel room, laying with their backs on the bed but their legs up against the wall because why not? Harriett kept knocking her feet together, occasionally knocking one of his as well. It was nearing midnight, and Harriett’s sleepiness was catching up to her. She suddenly burst into giggles for no reason, and only started laughing all the more when Luke gave her an odd look. Eventually it got so bad that she curled her legs up and buried her face in his shoulder, and Luke smiled.

His girlfriend was a weirdo, but he wouldn’t change it for the world.
