Ch. 16

Once the elevator doors opened at the top floor, Hunter wrapped an arm around Skylar and pulled him along as they headed towards his office. Sitting just outside the doors there was a large desk with two girls sitting behind it. One of the girls jumped up and ran over to them smiling.

''Sir, the papers for you to sign are sitting on your desk'' she said, smiling brightly.

Skylar looked the girl up and down. Her skirt was very short, her heels were too high, her shirt was very tight and the top three buttons were undone so that the top of her breast showed. She was even wearing a push up bra to help show them off. When he looked up to her face, he couldn't help but fight back his laughter from all the make-up she was wearing. This girl was indeed trying way too hard to get Hunter's attention.

Hunter gave her a nod ''Good.''

The girl looked at Skylar for a moment then back at Hunter ''Shall I show your guest to the waiting area?''

Hunter quickly snapped his eyes over to her ''Excuse me'' he snapped moving his arm from Skylar and took a step towards her.

''Y...your guest'' she motioned her hands towards Skylar.

Hunter chuckled as he let out a sigh and shook his head ''Why would he wait in the waiting area?''

''You never allow outsiders into your office, Sir'' she spoke, never once breaking her smile ''I figured you would like him to wait while you did some work. If not, I can take him back downstairs.''

''Girl, you're just digging your grave deeper'' Skylar whispered as he walked towards the door and started to push them open.

The girl rushed over and grabbed Skylar's arm roughly ''Sir, you are not allowed in there'' she said, pulling him away.

Hunter growled as he grabbed the girl's wrist tightly causing her to let go of Skylar's arm ''How dare you lay your filthy hands on him'' he snapped at her then shoved her away and pointed to the other girl behind the desk ''Call security and have this thing removed from my building.''

The girl looked up at Hunter with tears in her eyes ''But Sir, I was just doing my job'' she started to cry.

''Sir, security is on their way up'' the other girl said ''You and Mr. Skylar may go ahead into the office and leave this to me.''

Hunter looked at her and nodded ''Thank you Sam'' he said, turning back to Skylar.

''Sam, what the hell'' the crying girl said.

Sam looked at her smiling ''Mr. Skylar is Boss's lover'' she said ''If you would pay more attention to what is going on around here and be more up to date on the news as well, then you would know. I have told you many times to stop fussing over how you look because Boss would never dare look at you.'' Sam moved from behind the desk and walked towards the office doors opening them as she looked at Hunter ''Shall I bring you both something to drink or eat?''

Hunter smirked ''This is why you are number one'' he placed his arm around Skylar and pulled him into the office.

As Sam closed the doors behind them, the other girl could be heard screaming and crying till there was a loud smacking sound. Skylar smiled as he started to look around the office. It was huge and of course it had the same style as everything at his house. Shaking his head, Skylar started to walk around as Hunter went over and sat down at his desk. Just as Skylar had sat down on the couch, Sam opened the door and walked in with a trey holding drinks and sneaks. She walked over sitting in a chair next to the couch as she sat the trey down on the table.

Skylar smiled at her as he leaned forward and picked up one of the cups ''I'm sorry about that girl'' she said looking at him ''I told him not to hire her but he said I needed the help.''
