Ch. 17

Skylar woke to someone holding him tightly. Opening his eyes, he looked up to see Hunter leaning against his fist and his elbow propped up on the door and his eyes were closed. Skylar looked around to see Tristan and Nik sitting in the front. It was dark outside as well and the only thing he could see was the lights of the street lamps as they drove past.

As he tried to sit up, Hunter pulled him back down wrapping both arms around him ''Stay'' he said softly not once opening his eyes ''We will be home soon and when we get home we are having a talk.''

Skylar sighed as he ignored what Hunter said and sat up anyways. He moved off his lap and turned to look out the window. Hunter finally opened his eyes and looked over at him then sighed himself. This was going to be a long night and Skylar wasn't sure what to do or say. Once they pulled in and Tristan turned the car off, Skylar got out and headed inside not waiting for the others. He made his way towards the room only to go through his things to find something to sleep in. Finding a pair of sleep pants and a black shirt, Skylar started to make his way to the bathroom only to be stopped by Hunter taking hold of his arm.

''Sky'' he said softly once again.

Skylar closed his eyes for a moment then opened them ''I just want to take a bath and relax'' he said turning to look at him ''Please.''

''Ok'' Hunter said, lowering his head as he let go ''Go ahead. I'll wait for you to get done.''

Skylar nodded as he went into the bathroom and shut the door behind him. After running the bath with bubbles, he turned some music on using his phone then stripped and climbed in. Skylar moved to the edge of the tub and leaned on it as he looked out the window. Closing his eyes he laid his head down on his arms and let out a deep sigh. After laying there a few moments, he felt something running up and down his back. Opening his eyes he looked back to find Hunter knelt down by the tub, his sleeves were rolled up and he had a cloth in his hands.

Skylar sat up and moved closer so he didn't have to lean over so far ''Sorry'' Hunter said almost in a whisper ''I know you wanted to be alone.''

''It's fine'' Skylar said sitting there still looking out the window ''I didn't really expect you to sit out there and wait.'' He looked back at him a bit ''Why do you think I didn't lock the door?''

Hunter smiled and shook his head as he ran the cloth over his back then up over his left shoulder ''I'm sorry'' he said.

Skylar shook his head ''Don't be. You had work to do. I should be the one that is sorry. I left without saying a word and ignored your call.''

''But I was the one that ignored you as well'' Hunter said as he leaned over him a bit to wash his chest ''Sometimes when I'm working, I don't see or hear anything else.''

Skylar reached up and took hold of Hunter's hand ''Next time, I'll just smack the back of your head till you notice me.''

Hunter laughed a bit as he wrapped his arms around Skylar and hugged him ''And I will let you'' he said hiding his face in his neck.

Letting him go, Hunter stood and stripped his clothes off then climbed into the tub behind Skylar. Once he was in, he wrapped his arms around Skylar and pulled him close only to place his face against his neck again. Skylar closed his eyes as he leaned back against him.

A couple months have gone and everything was going great. Hunter had Skylar move in with him, but Skylar only agreed as long as Hunter left work at work (unless it was something that needed to be right away) and he had to leave work on time so everyone could have dinner together. Hunter happily agreed to his demands. Skylar had started to work at the coffee shop again, which made Luca and Dean happy, even though Hunter told him that he didn't have to work.
