Ch. 8

Skylar laid sound asleep next to Hunter, laying on his side with his arm wrapped around Hunter's waist. Hunter sat there smiling as he played with Skylar's hair. Having this sleeping boy next to him couldn't make him any happier. The more he looked at him the more he couldn't think of his life without him. Skylar let out a soft groan as he moved closer to Hunter, snuggling his face against his chest. Hunter chuckled lightly as he ran his knuckles over Skylar's cheek. As he kept staring at him, Skylar's phone soon started to ring. Frowning his brows, Hunter looked over at the phone.

Skylar cursed as he started to roll over and blindly tried to reach for his phone ''Fucking hell'' he said.

Hunter laughed as he reached over him and grabbed up the phone ''I got it.''

''I'm going to kill whoever it is'' Skylar groaned more as he reached out and pressed the talk button then the speaker button ''What?''

''Is that any way of speaking with your boyfriend'' a male voice said laughing ''Then again you were always grumpy after waking up.''

Skylar's eyes shot open as he sat up and looked at the phone ''The hell you want'' he snapped, taking the phone from Hunter.

The voice once again laughed ''We didn't have our meeting a few days ago'' he said.

''FUCK YOU RYAN'' Skylar yelled then ended the call and tossed the phone on the bed.

The last thing Skylar wanted to wake up to was a call from the asshole. He pulled his knees close to his chest, only to hide his face in them. For a moment, he had forgotten that Hunter was still there next to him, telling him he felt a hand start to rub his back gently.

Lifting his head, Skylar finally looked over towards him ''Now you look at me'' Hunter smiled as he wrapped an arm around his waist pulling him close.

''I'm sorry'' Skylar said with a soft voice.

Hunter held him close ''Shhh'' he said ''It's ok.''

As they sat there, Skylar's phone started to ring again. This time Hunter reached out and grabbed the phone answering it but didn't say a word.

''Now Skylar'' Ryan said ''That is no way to treat your boyfriend.''

Hunter smirked ''Boyfriend'' he said looking at Skylar as he pulled him even closer ''Last I checked, Skylar was with me. In fact he is next to me in my bed.''

Skylar blushed as he reached out and held onto Hunter's shirt tightly ''Saying things like that is embarrassing'' he said, biting his lip.

''Nothing to be embarrassed about love'' Hunter leaned in close, placing a kiss against his temple.

''STOP THAT'' Ryan shouted ''Skylar is mine and mine alone.''

Hunter looked back at the phone ''If he was yours then he would have never left you'' Hunter moved off the bed as he walked over towards the window and looked out ''If you truly cared for him, you would not have hurt him the way you did. You would not have cheated on him, nor left scars on him.''

''You saw'' Skylar said, looking at him.

Hunter turned back and looked at him ''Of course I did. I saw when I changed your clothes.''

''Then if you saw, you know he belongs to me'' Ryan said again ''And if anyone gives him a family it will be me.''

Hunter walked over and sat on the bed ''Is that what you want Sky'' he asked.

''No'' Skylar hung his head ''I will never go back to him.''

''Then never lower your head'' Hunter reached out lifting his head ''Remember you have a choice as well.''
