Ch. 5

The moment they pulled into the drive, Skylar was taken back by how big the house was. He couldn't believe that it was only Hunter and Mylo that lived there. Mylo quickly got out of the car only to pull Skylar along with him. As they walked into the house, he was in awe about just how big it was inside. There were people walking around and cleaning. So many people that he couldn't even keep count. Skylar had never seen a place look so big. Mylo pulled him along, showing him everything from the kitchen to the game room to the huge pool outside and to the one inside. There was a full basketball court and a full soccer field. But the thing that caught Skylar's attention the most was not only the large garden that sat between the soccer field and the basketball court, but it was the large library that sat almost smack dab in the middle of the house. There were two levels and shelves on top of shelves of books.

Skylar had pulled away from Mylo as he walked around the library looking at all the books he could. He gently ran his fingers over each book. They were not only organized by authors but by the type of books as well. Towards the back left side, were all books that had to do with history.

''Daddy'' Mylo said as he ran over towards Skylar wrapping his arms around his left leg ''Daddy likes books?''

Skylar laughed as he knelt down and nodded ''I do'' he said as he reached out and picked a book off the shelf ''I was in school for a while. I wanted to learn everything I could about history. Sooner or later I wanted to work with anything dealing with history such as a museum or maybe be a history teacher.''

Mylo tilted his head as he looked down at the book ''Why did Daddy stop going to school?''

''Because someone was hurting me to the point I had to leave'' he said smiling at Mylo ''So I left my home and school. I moved back in with my parents.'' He put the book back on the shelf and hugged Mylo tightly ''And since I did, I got to meet you and your dad. Along with Nik.''

''So, that is good, right'' Mylo asked.

Skylar nodded ''Of course'' he sad nuzzling his cheek ''I'm happy I got to meet everyone.''

Mylo grabbed a hold of Skylar's hand and started to pull him along to his room. The rest of the day they would either play in Mylo's room or outside. Once it was time for dinner, Nik had the cooks and maids set everything up for the three of them to eat. Mylo never once left Skylar's side and when he would call him Daddy in front of people, they would just ignore it. Skylar helped Mylo take a bath and get ready for bed. After tucking him in, Skylar went to leave only to feel a tug on his arm.

''Will you stay with me'' Mylo said softly ''Dad use to sleep with me when he wasn't busy.''

Skylar smiled as he sat on the bed ''Alright'' he said as he kicked off his shoes and climbed into the bed.

Mylo snuggled against him closely. Skylar laid there smiling and humming as he played with Mylo's soft brown hair. If this was what it was like raising a child, Skylar wanted to do it every day. The longer he laid there the more he felt his eyes start to drift close. Not much longer and he was passed out. The whole time Nik was standing in the doorway watching. When he noticed that Skylar had fallen asleep with Mylo, he couldn't help but smile. He slowly closed the door and made his way down the hall. A couple hours later, both Hunter and Tristan came in talking about business like normal, as they made their way to the office. Nik was already there waiting for them.

''Nik, how was today'' Hunter said as he moved to stand behind his desk ''Did you make sure to pick Mylo up and take Skylar home?''

Nik stood there nodding with his arms crossed ''More or less'' he said with a smile.

''The fuck does that mean'' Tristan asked looking at him.

''I got a call today from Mylo's school'' Nik walked over towards the desk looking at Hunter ''He had gotten into a fight with another student due to the photo that was taken of the three of you.''
