the next morning, May 1st 9:15am

Ellens POV:
I always woke up within the 6 o'clock hour, i had no clue why. I got out of bed and noticed Patrick was still sleeping. I made my side of the bed the best I could, and walked to my bedroom to check on Talula, i stood in the doorway just admiring her. She was honestly the most beautiful kind hearted soul i had ever met. So pure. She looked just like Patrick, and her personality was just like his too. I walked back down the hallway to Kates room. I decided to shower in Kates bathroom because I didnt want to wake Talula. Talula always was a big sleeper, she slept for atleast 13 hours every night. Crazy. "Hey Kate, Im just gonna shower here because Tal is still sleeping in my room." I said as i walked in, "Sounds good." Kate said half asleep. I turned on the shower, dropped my robe and got in. All i could think about was Patrick, not sexually, not in that way at all. Just thought about how he was doing mentally. It had to be hard co-parenting like that and now going through a divorce. Im gonna give him his time, but im gonna eventually as him if he wants to make this official. I heard Kate come in, "Patricks wondering if he can come in the bathroom." Kate said, "Send him in." I said, "Hey Ellen can i ask for a favor?" He asked, "Of course." I said, "Can you watch Tal while i go get the divorce papers from Jills house and then bring them to my lawyer?" He asked, "Of course i can. Is she up yet?" I said, "Not yet. But im assuming soon." He said, "Let me know if theres anything else i can do. Text me so i know youre safe." I said with a smile, "I could use a kiss goodbye?" He said with a giggle, I opened the shower door and gave him a kiss, "Damn! Im gonna get some of that tonight." He said with a smile, "Oh hush!" I said. He left the bathroom but what he said shocked me, we had only ever casually had sex in the moment, that was different, that was- it just gave off a different feeling. It made me feel like we had something really real. I got out of the shower and dried myself off, put my hair in a towel and went to sit on Kates bed, "Kate. Guess what." I said, "What." She asked intrigued, "When i gave him a kiss goodbye he looked at me and said 'Damn! Im gonna get some of that tonight!' Like what does that mean." I said, "Well it means he wants to have sex with you?" Kate said questioning my ability to think, "Well no shit. But like we've only ever had casual spur of the moment sex, does this mean he wants to have sex sex?" I said, "Sounds like it to me dumbo!" Kate said, "Okay well.... Thanks for watching Talula tonight!" I said, "Wait I never- ohhh i get it." Kate said, "Mhm." I said with a smirk.

Patricks POV:
I pulled into the driveway, of the house I would soon be selling. I said wlles in the front door and saw Jill sitting on the couch with the papers in her hand, "Are they signed?" I asked, "Yep." Jillian said with a disgusted look on her face, "Dont look at me like that. YOU did this. YOU cheated. All YOU. This is not my fault, not at all. YOU chose to cheat." I said, i was pissed, she did all this to herself, "You couldve tried to work this out for me! You made vows!" Jillian said, "Dont try to turn this on me! I didnt cheat on you! I was the most perfect husband you couldve asked for, we had a perfect family, and you cheated. This is on you." I said as i opened the door to leave. I was going to go drop them off then go back to Ellens. I was pissed, but i wasnt going to let this ruin my day. Hopefully, im gonna have some nice sex later and this will all be made up for. As i drove down the highway, all i could think of was Ellen. Did she want to make this official? Did she want us to be forever? I know i did. I love that woman with every bone in my body. I want her to be the last thing i see every night, and the first thing i see every morning. Only thing i want in my whole life is to be her husband. I knew marrying Jill was a mistake, the second i walked to that venue. I was fine up until the day of the wedding. Then, everything went downhill from there. First we started fighting right away, had Tal and would still fight, and now the cheating. Im not going to give up until the day i die for Ellen, she will be my wife.

Ellens POV:
Patrick should be home any minute, Kate and Talula were making cookies. Kate is gonna watch Talula, and me and Patrick would go have dinner on the beach. "Hey!" I said as Patrick came inside the door, "Hi." He said giving me a hug and a kiss on the forehead, "You okay?" I ask, "Yea, just crabby. Ill just nap it off." He said with a slight smile, "May i join?" I said, "Sure." He said. We walked to my bedroom, shut the shades, shut the door and crawled under my  fluffy duvet. He always told me i had the comfiest bed hes ever been in. I layed my head on his chest, and hear him slowly doze off to sleep. But for some reason i cant. All i can think about is our future together. I want to be with him so bad, i wanna marry this man. I wish i could put into words my love for him. Now i imagine 3 boys after tal, he would be a boy dad finally. The best ever. 1 baby and then twins. Maybe id be right, maybe not. But whatever happens, i want to have it happen with him. He is my everything. I heard Kate come in, but didnt pay any attention, "Hey. Just came in to check on you because Talula is asleep on the couch. She has half a cookie in her mouth." Kate said laughing, "Oh my gosh i have to see that." I said in a whisper, i moved Patricks arms and made sure he was still asleep when i left. I grabbed my camera and went to go get a picture of Talula. She looked identical to Patrick especially when shes sleeping. "Shes so funny oh my lord. This is being framed." I said laughing as i looked at Kate, "Better wake Patrick soon if you want to still go to the beach." Kate said, "Oh shit- right, better do that." I said as i rushed back to the bedroom, i went into the bathroom and got myself ready. I put on a beachy blue dress and threw some loose curls in my hair and some natural make up. "Hey Paddy, we should get going soon just giving you a heads up." I said giving him a kiss, "You look beautiful." He said, "Thank you." I said with a wink. He looked good all the time, even when hes sleeping, he still looks amazing.

hey guys! sorry about the boring chapter. also, i know talking about their "future" gets boring but, it all makes sense in the end. anyways, the next chapter will be more interesting i promise! and sorry for not updating last night, i was with my cousin!
