ELLENS POV:
"Hey Tal come on we have to go to work lets go to pre-school" I said as i grabbed her backpack and headed for the door, "No not yet! I have to get all my toys." She said, "Ill have Aunt Kate do it later, we gotta go!!" I said as i picked her up and brought her to the car, "Oh finally! Ive been waiting." Patrick said as we got into the car, "Someone likes to stall." I said looking in the rearview mirror. We drove Tal to school and then went to work, everyday routine. Everyday was the same. "I love you." He said as he looked at me, "I love you more." I said. That man, god that man. He made everything okay. No matter what it was, he healed me. "Wanna go to the mall this weekend? Take you on a shopping spree?" He said, I turned to him with a smile on my face, "Really?" I said, "Really! Just me and you. Kate already said she could watch Tal for us for a couple hours." He said with a smile, "Well then DUH i wanna go shopping!" I said with a big smile, "Saturday at 2. Be there." He said, "You know we live together and your driving me.. right?" I said, "Well, yea... i wanted to sound romantic!!" He said smiling, "Youre hilarious." I said laughing. We pulled up to set and got out and went to our trailer, ate some breakfast and put our scrubs on to go to hair and makeup. We sat next to eachother during hair and makeup and everyone talked about our relationship like we were a bunch of teenagers. Even though we are 39 and 35, little too old for that. "Did you guys hear Patrick and Ellen in their trailer the other night?" Sandra said, "Sandra weve never had sex in our trailer..." I said, "What- who was it then?" Sandra said, "Kate wasnt at home the other night, she said she was going to see TR. We didnt think anything of it because Tal was having a rough night so we just put her to bed." Patrick said, "Well TR doesnt like women he wouldnt-" Sandra said, "Oh my god! That lying bitch!" I said, "Well who would she even sleep with?" Sandra asked, "His name is Mike, shes been talking about him. She mustve brought him to her trailer so me and Pat wouldnt find out." I said, "Kate! God damn her! Why is she the only one around here getting laid??" Sandra said, Me and Patrick gave eachother a look knowing whay we did last night... "Well, besides you guys, screwing every night or whatever you do." Sandra said with disgust. Me and Patrick just laughed, it was so funny when people talked about us. "Ellen were you in gymnastics as a kid, because Patrick seems to talk about how flexible you are in your nightly 'yoga' class!!" Sandra said, "Sandra you cant talk like that around here!!" I said laughing, "Oh yea Ellen, answer the question.." Patrick added on, "No, i wasnt in Gymnastics. I just practiced.. maybe i have a good coach? Have you ever thought of that San..." I said, "You guys are so disgusting." She said as me and Patrick laughed.

LATER THAT NIGHT
Patricks POV:
"Tal its time for bed honey." I said as i walked into the kitchen where her and Ellen were, "Noo!" Talula said, "Yep it is!" i said as i picked her up and twirled her and took her to her room, "What story should we read?" I asked, "The one with the yellow cover and the baby on it." She said, "Okay."I said as i pulled the yellow book from her nightstand, by the time i finished the book, she was half asleep on my shoulder. I tried to sneak out of her room but as i got into the door way i was stopped, "Dad?" She said, "Yes Tal?" I said back, "When will i get a little sister?" She asked, "Not sure honey. Hopefully soon" I said as i smiled, "Love you daddy goodnight." She said, "Goodnight, i love you." I said as i left her door a crack open and walked into the living room where ellen was, "Can i go in and say goodnight?" She asked, "Yea." I said as i sat down, i watched her walk away and peak her head in the doorway and say goodnight. "Im gonna go talk to Kate really quick" She said, i replied back with a head nod and a smile. She was up to something, was she breaking up with me? Something seemed off. I shut off the TV and walked into the bedroom and got into bed, opened a book and waited for her to come back. After a while she came back with a smile on her face. She did that lip bite smile that made me crazy. The flowy curtain bangs and the lip bite smile with her light green eyes made me insane. In-Sane. "Hey. You okay?" I asked as she got into bed and turned on the lamp next to her, "Yea im okay i just dont feel.. right. I dont feel good." She said, "Whats wrong?" I asked, "Ive just felt moody and very nauseous lately. It just feels weird." She said, "Have you taken anything?" I asked, "Yea it just wont go away." She said, "Babe thats not good, should i call the doctor." I asked, "No, no, itll go away. I couldnt be? No- i cant be. I couldnt be... pregnant? Could i?" She asked, "Well.. theres always a possibility. I'm sorry El." I asked, "No no Paddy its not your fault. Its a great thing if i am, i was told that i probably wouldnt be able to have kids without some sort of fertility treatment, which you know." Ellen said, "Yea i know, it sucks. Im sorry. I will go get you a test and some stuff and i will be right back okay?" I said as i got up and grabbed my jacket in a panic. I was exhausted and i looked half dead, but anything for my Ellie. "I love you, i will be right back okay." I said, "Okay thank you i love you." She said as i headed out the door, i got into my black porsche and sped out of the driveway, only about 5 miles over on the main road. Would i become a dad for the second time? I got onto the highway and started driving for the nearest CVS. 2 Minutes felt like 10. Theres no way she could be pregnant? I was a pull-out expert. Kind of. I would love to have a baby with her, but i want to be married before we announce it so the media doesnt give us shit about it. I finally pulled in, got out of my car. And walked in, i headed straight to the womans isle with all the pregnancy tests and medications. I bought three different tests and then i went to get her favorite tea and then a heating pad for her back because her back has been hurting. I walked up to the register and it was a young woman, teenager maybe. "Is that all for you sir?" She asked me, "Yes it is." I said, she looked up at me and her jaw dropped, "P-Patrick Dempsey?" She asked with a smile on her face, "Yes." I said with a smile, "Its me! Im real!" I said laughing, "I am a huge fan!" She said, "Thank you!" She said as she scanned the second test, "So if you dont mind me asking, who are these for?" She asked, "I dont mind. For Ellen, me and Jill have been divorced for a while and shes fully out of the picture, and we, me and Ellen, have full custody of our daughter Talula. Ellen thinks shes having a pregnancy scare but we arent sure." I said, "Oh my goodness. Well i wish you the best of luck and keep me updated!!" She said, "Thank you so much!" I said as i grabbed my bag and paid and left. I started my car as fast as i could and i sped down the highway as fast as i could to get home. I pulled into our Malibu neighborhood, only 2 more minutes. I saw the outside lights of Ellens malibu home as i pulled up, i hoped to have a house of our own some day. Me, Ellen, Talula, and maybe a couple more kiddos running around somewhere. I pulled into the circle driveway, parked my car in the garage and went in. She was waiting for me in the bathroom. "Im back." I said as i walked into the bathroom and shut it behind me. "Ill take this test, and whatever happens happens. Im ready to do this with you. Ive known ive been ready since the day i met you. But if its not positive, maybe its not our time yet." She said, "Im ready ells. Ive been ready my whole life. Im not worried about a thing, because i know we can get through it." I said, she peed in the little paper dixie cup, stood up and unrapped the white and blue pregnancy test. She took off the blue cap, and dipped it in. This was it. This was the moment my life could change for the better. "Okay, im gonna let that soak, flip it over, and we can look at the results in 3 minutes." She said, i pulled her in for a hug and rubbed her back and whispered a sweet 'i love you' in her ear. A few minutes past, maybe 2 at the most, we were getting ready to flip it over. "Whatever happens, happens, right?" She said, "Right baby." I said as i gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Ready?" She asked, "Ready." I said, she started counting. "3... 2... 1..." She said and flipped it over.
