{a month later} Saturday, June 15th, 2:06am, 2006

Ellens POV:
My alarm started blaring in my ears, it was time to get up. Me and Patrick were going to Paris! We were only staying for 4 nights, but since Tal was gone at her moms and we were on hiatus, it was perfect timing for us to take a trip together. We still werent out publicly yet, but i think we should announce over the trip. The paparazzi will catch us anyway why not just say it to everyone. "Wake up." I said giving Patrick a kissed, "Goodmorning?" He said, "Sorry. Good 2-in-the-morning." I said laughing, i snuggled into his chest and finally "We should get up if you dont wanna be late. And i know how much you hate being late." He said kissing my forehead, "Youre right. Get your ass up!" I said laughing and hitting him with a pillow, he threw it back and laughed. I walked into the bathroom and just looked at my crazy hair and smudged makeup in the mirror, he followed me in. "Wow. Beautiful." He said trying to hold back his laugh. "Oh hush!" I said playfully laughing at him, "You really are gorgeous though." He said, "Youre not too bad yourself Dempsey." I said giving him a kiss. After we both got 'ready' we went to the car and started driving to the airport. "Patrick Galen Dempsey! You cannot drive this fast down the highway!" I said, "Oh come on! Have some fun! Its 3am no ones out here to tell me i cant go 90 on a 65." He said, "I am! Slow down what if a deer comes running!" I said, "If you insist. And that deer? He can go fuck himself." He said laughing. I laughed back hysterically. I knew i was gonna marry that man. We hadnt said I love you out loud to eachother yet, but i think we both knew. "Are we gonna take middle of the night trips when we have our own family?" I asked, *what the HELL ellen?? Family of our own??? toooooo soon babe. too soon.* I thought to myself, "Well hopefully, we can get flights during the day." He said smiling and squeezing my hand a little tighter.

Patricks POV:
We pulled up to the airport, she was asleep and i felt so bad waking her but we were already running behind schedule. "Ellie, we're here." I said trying to wake her up, "Im up! Im up!" She said jolting herself awake, "Ill take all the luggage, all you have to do is get yourself to the gate." I said, "No no no let me take something." She said, "Ellen. Just walk." I said grabbing all the luggage, we got inside the airport and went to get our tickets. We sat on one of the benches against the window and she rested her head on my lap and fell asleep immediately. I reached to my pocket and grabbed my phone to text Kate
P- Just got here. Jill will be to the house at 5, i don't understand why she insists on picking up my 4 yr old at 5am but so be it.
K- Okay. Shes fast asleep in my bed. Ill try to keep it that way for as long as i can.
P- Thanks Kate
Anyways, back to what Ellen said in the car. Did she want us to have a family? Or did she just say that to make me happy. I wanted a family with her, a huge one. I would never stop having kids with her if she would let me. It was eventually time for us to board our flight. Good thing our luggage was taken to be put under the plane so i could carry her. I picked her up and she didnt even flinch thats how tired she was. She got 2 hours of sleep and i got 6, i would be exhausted too. We got into our first class seats and i layed her down. I looked at her sleeping and all i wanted to do was yell at the top of my lungs that i loved this girl. I pulled out my phone again to text Kate to see if Tal got picked up okay.
P- Hey K. Did Tal get out okay?
K- Yes shes fine. Jill is pissy as always, but Talula is good.
P- Thank you for putting up with her.
K- Any time.
The plane took off for our 14 hour flight to Paris. Flying was exhausting, but so worth it in the end. It would still be 4 in the morning when we got to Paris. Except it would be the next day. All we did was sleep, sleep and sleep some more.

Ellens POV:
I woke up after a long 14 hour flight and slept the whole way through, Patrick however, did not. He said he couldnt sleep at all and just watched movies the whole time. "Ready?" He said as we pulled out of the rental car lot, "Duh! Lets go!" I said smiling. He pulled out of the lot and we were on our journey to navigate Paris. We had both been here before, but only for jobs. Never to actually explore. I was so excited, "I have a surprise for you first." He said turning down a street he wasnt supposed to. "Oo what is it?" I asked with a smile, "Its a peice of jewelry. Thats all im gonna say." He said smiling, we pulled up to the jeweler and he went in and got it. He came back into the car and handed me a black box, "Youre not allowed to open it until later tonight, but, you can look at the box!" Patrick said smiling, "So i have to wait 5 hours?!" I said, "Well, Yes, but its worth it." Patrick said giving me a kiss on the side of the head. We went to our hotel and were of course very kindly Greeted by the paparazzi (not kindly.) We got out of our car with flashing lights in our face. We got a bunch of questions like "are you guys together" "hows greys doing" "whens the relationship announcement" and patrick just flipped them all off. We got back into the hotel and just laughed, that was our new reality. "We have dinner plans tonight. 7." He said coming into the bathroom, "So youre telling me i have 2 hours to shower and get ready?" I said, "Well yea but i can join you to make it faster." He said with a wink, "This has to be a fast shower. No sex." I said smiling, "No sex." He said kissing me, we pulled off eachothers clothes and found our way into the steamy hot shower never releasing our lips. He took the lavender shampoo i brought and soaped it all up in my hair, i did the same to him. He said the lavender shampoo didnt make him feel like a man, but we both knew he loved the smell. We both got out, put on our hotel robes and started getting ready. I put on a white dress that went just below my knees and some red lipstick. Curled my hair a bit then went out to find him in a suit. God he was handsome, "Very dapper Mr. Dempsey." I said smiling, "Astonishing yourself, Ms. Pompeo." He said as we linked arms and went downstairs to the hotel entrance. We got in our taxi, he had the jewelry box in his pocket. "Where are we going?" I asked, "Seine river front restaurant by the eiffel tower." He said so casually, "What?! That mustve cost a fortune!" I said surprised, "Anything for you." He said smiling. The taxi came up to the restaurant and we started to get out, "Bonjour!" Patrick said, "Patrick, wrong word, Je vous remercie" I said, it meant thank you. We both laughed at his dumbness and went inside, "Table for Dempsey." He said, "Right this way" The host said, we sat down by a beautiful candle lit table. "What can i get for you both?" The host asked, he spoke english i guess. "We will do the spaghetti does that sound okay honey?" He asked me, "Perfect. And a bottle of red." I added. "Can i open it now?" I asked eagerly, "I guess so" He said smiling, "it's BEAUTIFUL." I said with tears in my eyes, its a white quarts stone with a gold chain, "Look at the back." He said smiling, "with the first kiss, we knew." It said, "Patrick! Youre gonna make me cry!" I stood up and gave him a hug, "I love you." He said in my ear, "I love you, until the end of time." I said back. We sat back down, our food came and we got super drunk. Stumbled into our taxi, and went back to our room. "Hey we should... announce our relationship on social media." I said pulling up facebook, my drunk self thought that was the brightest idea on earth, "Oh yes we shall!" Patrick said lauging,
"So.. its official, me and THE Patrick Galen Dempsey are dating??? Yup, you heard it here folks!" My facebook post said, we both looked at eachother and giggled and then crashed in our bed, tangled in eachothers arms.
