~Chapter Four: The Nightly Double~

After Dally made the plan, we went back inside and had some breakfast that Darry had made.

"Hey Johnny, Pony, Y/N and I are heading to the Nightly Double after, wanna tag along?" Dally asks the boys, I'm crossing my fingers behind my back that they say yes.

"Sure," Both of the boys replied. I felt my heart skip a beat, they said yes!

~Time Skip to 7:30 pm~

I was at Dally's, well his room at Buck's. He lets me keep my stuff there, I don't have all that much; a few pairs of jeans, a couple of shirts, some makeup, basic hygienic things, a plain black dress and a pair of black flats that I keep for special occasions. Of course, I wear my leather jacket all the time, it's my favourite piece of clothing. 

I put a little makeup on, nothing much just a little mascara and some neutral-coloured lipstick and I left my hair down. 

"Y/N, you ready to go?" Dally asks me through the bathroom door.

"Yup," I say then walk out of the bathroom. Dally and I walked down the stairs and out of Buck's. We walked over to the Curtis house to pick up Pony and Johnny. Once we get there we can see them standing on the porch. We started making our way to the Nightly Double.

"Hey Y/N, I'm going to go and tell Ponyboy about the plan," Dally whispered in my ear, I nodded.

I started walking with Johnny and we talked a little, just about school really. Yes, I go to school, even though I may seem like a drop-out I'm not. I explained to Johnny how Dally and I met and then he explained when they first met. After a couple of minutes, we had reached the Nightly Double. We found the hole in the fence that the employees still haven't fixed and slid through. I dusted off the back of my pants, then Dally and I went to get popcorn and drinks, while Pony and Johnny found seats. When we reached the concession stand Dally spoke up;

"Are you ready to execute the plan?"

"Yes, Yes I am,"

We got the popcorn and cokes and went back to the seats, the seating arrangement was; Dally, me, Johnny and then Ponyboy. After a few minutes into the movie, Dally and Pony got up.

"Hey Johnny, Y/N, I'm going to teach Ponyboy how to get a broad," and with that, they walked off. For a few minutes, it was awkward. I felt something touch my hand, I looked down, Johnny had grabbed my hand, I blushed but didn't object. I put my head on his shoulder and could feel myself drifting off to sleep.

"Y/N, Y/N wake up, the movies are over," Johnny was gently shaking me awake.

"Johnny, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to fall asleep,"

"It's alright," Johnny said, with a small grin on his face. We stood up and went to find Dally and Pony, which we did right away.

"Find any action?" I asked.

"There was this one girl, her name was Cherry. Do you know Cherry Valance, the Soc? Well, Pony digs her," Dally said, Pony blushed slightly. I'm surprised Pony likes a Soc, but I didn't say anything. 

"What about you Dal?" Johnny asked.

"Nah, most of 'em were either real greasy or Soc girls," He didn't seem all that upset.

We walked back to the Curtis house, Pony and Dally went inside.

The door closed.

"Hey, Johnny, I had a really good time tonight," I said nervously.

"I did too," He smiled. We both looked down at our feet.

"Y-Y/N, can I k-kiss you?" Johnny looked up. I could feel my face grow red, but I nodded none the less. Then he planted a soft, gentle kiss on my lips.

 It was amazing...
