It's been a couple of weeks since I first met the gang, there has never been a dull moment. With Two-bit always drunk, there is always something to laugh at. Everyone has been so nice to me, Johnny and I haven't told anyone about our relationship yet, we are planning on telling them soon though. I think Dally might know, but I'm not so sure.

Tonight Dally and I are going to go and steal some beers and head to the drive-in. The plan was set; I was gonna flirt with the cashier so Dally can steal some stuff unless a girl is at the register then Dally will do the flirting. Dally and I would both rather do the stealing, someone has to do the distracting.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's time to head out. I haven't stolen anything since I met the gang, it's really weird. That's the longest I've never gone that long since I was 12.

"Hey Dal, you ready?"

"Yup,"

We walked out into the chilly night air. I took out my pack of weeds and offered one to Dally, which he accepted. I was anxious and excited, the cancer stick took the edge off.

We both put out our weeds as we approached the gas station, not the DX.

"Let's go," Dally said.

I nodded.

Damnit I'm gonna have to do the flirting. I could see Dally smirking, he always gets to steal stuff.

We walk into the gas station, I pretend to look at a few things then walk up to the counter.

"Hey, I was wondering, which direction is Jay's?" I said leaning on the counter and twirling my hair.

"Would you like me to write it down?" He asks.

"Yes please,"

He writes down the address for me, I look back and Dally gives me a quick thumbs up.

"Here you go," he passes me the paper.

"Thanks," I give him a wink, grab a beer then run out of the store.

"Shit, Dally run," He didn't question anything and ran.

I could hear the cops trailing behind us.

"Y/N, you shouldn't have taken that beer, we were almost in the clear!" He scolds me.

"Don't scold me now, we needed more excitement,"

"Stop running, and put your hands in the air," The cop shouted.

"Dally, keep running!" The cop caught us and pushed us to the ground. We tried to get away but he
handcuffed us.

"Well, well, well look who we have here. Dallas Winston and Y/N L/N," The cop said. I knew this cop, it was Dave. Dave was the one who always caught Dally and me stealing, he lets us go, depending on what we did knowing that even when we got released we would just end up committing another crime.

"Wow, Dave nice to see you again," Dally said sarcastically.

"You two haven't been in the cooler for a while, I bet your glad," Dave chuckled. He brought us up to our feet and shoved us in the car.

We were driving for a couple of minutes when I saw something.

"Dave, stop the car!" I said.

"No can do,"

"Did you not hear me? I said stop the fucking car!" I snapped.

"Give me a reason,"

"There are 4 boys beating up 1 boy, is that a good enough reason?!" he stopped and the four boys ran away. He let Dally and I out of the car, that wasn't the first time he made that mistake.

I walked over to the boy lying on the ground and my eyes started to tear up.

Lying on the ground was a curled up, badly beaten boy. I recognized the jean jacket and dark hair and skin.

It was Johnny.
