16 years later.

Kalani's POV

"Mom, you forgot to pack my lunch," Rumi whined, barging into our bedroom. It was 6 a.m and the kid was already up.

Can't I have at least two seconds to breathe?

"Can't you give mommy two seconds please?" I put a cover over my head. You would think she isn't grown up, but no.

My husband pulled my cover down and looked at me saying, "You know, you do realize at some point you gonna have to wake up because I also need lunch." He smiled.

I bit my lower lip. Gosh, he still looks as sexy as hell.

"Well, morning to you too dearest husband." I peck kissed his knuckles. He suddenly rolled his body so he was on top and me and he looked at me intensely.

He then said in a husky voice, "You know, if you weren't pregnant right now, I would probably give you some of my," he leaned closer, "You know." I hit his shoulder, blushing and pushing him off me. He smirked.

"Daddy why you on top of momma?" Rumi suddenly asked.

I just double blinked, "I-hmmm, sweetie, momma is coming downstairs in a few minutes ok?" I ignored her question.

"Ok, don't take long." She replied, quickly running out.

"That child is gonna be the death of me." Montero finally spoke.

"Get off me, I need to prepare lunch for your children. Including you dear sir." I pointed at him, seating up, trying to stand. Being 7 months pregnant made me look like a balloon. And quite frankly, I didn't care.

"Not like that you not. Ask Ramsey to prepare it. I'll make my own. Or maybe, I'll buy something at work." He stood up going to the bathroom.

"Like the heck you are. No husband of mine is going to eat takeouts, I'm going to make your lunch." I stood up, leaving the bed.

He immediately came out of the bathroom, with only a towel on his waistline and my mind suddenly went blank.

Is this seasoned piece of meat my husband?

"Girl it's the hormones," Hilary replied.

Great now you are back. I shook my head.

And where would I go? She asked.

"Anywhere." I casually answered.

"Amore, are you listening?" Suddenly I was back on earth, and my husband was talking to me.

"Huh?" I uttered dumbstruck, yet managing to come back to life.

"I said," he moved closer, took my hand and he repeated, "I love you."

I smiled with tears threatening to come out. Those are always ready to come out these days.

"I love you and I love you always." He continued.

"I love you too." Tears started falling and there was no way I could stop them.

"Can you please not cry?" He pulled me close and he hugged me tightly.

"It's the hormones. I can't believe you are still not used to them." I sniffed, pulling back whatever that was coming out of my nose.

"Yea, it kinda always feel like the first time." He commented smiling, rubbing my back. "I've booked a spa day for you and Eva." He continued. "Say, a girl's day out. Ramsay will take care of the kids when they come back. Reiley asked if she could tag along and I-"

"It's perfectly fine. Her company is the best anyways. Thank you so much." I snuggled closer pulling him in.

"It's my pleasure." He kissed the top of my head. "Now, since you are a loving wife who doesn't want to see me starve, please go make me lunch." He instructed, slowly pulling away and kissing my forehead.

"Yes sir." I put on my gown and headed downstairs. After going down the million and one stairs, I got to the bottom and I pressed the alarm button.

It's installed alarms in all my children's rooms so I don't have to wake them up individually. And in terms of who bathes first, Montero had bathrooms built-in for all of them so there was no hassle.

And yes, this is one big house we live in. Twelve bedrooms to be exact, nine of which have their bathrooms. Ours is the biggest room though. It even has a mini-study for both me and Montero. We live in a three-story house and our room is on the second floor. This house also had my very own personal office, Montero's office, a library, three bathrooms, a game room, a cinema room, one big dining room, a painting room, a gym for the whole family, Montero's special training room, one big kitchen, a sauna room, and mini-hospital in the building.

We decided to buy a house outside New York. And just live in our bubble without a hassle. And yes, I still call him Montero. Because the name kinda stuck.

After a few seconds, I could hear shuffles and noises, I smiled, proceeding to the kitchen. I could Charlie yelling at Enzo for using his shampoo and Enzo completely denying it.

They are always at each other's throats. In terms of the naming, my husband gladly agreed with the names except for Paxton's name. He said he would be Placido. It still held the same meaning of course, just in Italian. But of course, he could have Paxton as a second name.

I just agreed that each child having one name was enough. This is a nation of kids we have anyways.

So guess who's back?!

The Montero family.

The whole lot of them. As you can see, I'm still basing my story and I'm putting everyone in the line of what's happening.

To those who just randomly took this book, it's a sequel from a book called Mr. Montero and her. But I'll try my best to make it a stand-alone book so y'all don't feel obligated to go read that one first.

There are going to be a lot of POVs in this book so y'all can get a better understanding of what's going on and for clarity off course.

Without further ado, welcome the first of many chapters and I hope you enjoy this rollercoaster ride you are about to enter.

Just to remind y'all quickly: This author loves y'all ❤️❤️💞💞❣️
