Montero's POV

"What now?" Kalani asks, and I can see she is trying her best to not freak out in front of the kids.

If anything, we are both doing the same thing.

"Try the back up, and I'll try calling them using my phone." I take out my phone and dial Johnathan and it immediately goes to voicemail. I try again, some thing. I try Eva, and to no avail.

I look over to Ricky who doesn't need to be told twice to driver faster, but then I realize, maybe this is part of their plan. For us to cut out communication, and throw us in a panic to lure us out.

"Slow down Ricky." I instruct him.

"But sir, -"

"Maybe it's their plan to lure us out like this." I explain. "Maybe they have seen through our decoy plan and want us to expose ourselves instead. Ricky does as he is told and he slows down the car back to 80 miles per hour.

" what now?" Kalani questions.

"We proceed as planned. We Change cars on the checkpoint, and we continue as nothing ever happened. We hope the guys get the memo and are not quick to make rash decisions." I inform her and she nods, and the look that she gave me made me realize that we were hoping the same thing that our people were all okay.

Third person POV( Minutes before the cut off)

The three guys where enjoying whiskey in the office waiting for one of the guys on site to call. And within seconds, the call came through as it should have.

"Talk to me." He utters.

"Sir, we have a slight problem." The guy on the other end informs him in fear, his voice trembling, not sure if he should continue this conversation at all.

"And what might that be?" The big boss smiles sarcastically, his blood immediately boiling hot in anger.

"They have too many decoys and by the time we take those out, they will be out the city and into the outskirts of Sicily." He explains.

"And you telling me this because?" The big boss inquires.

"We need your instructions on what to do next." He mutters, hoping the big boss heard him.

"Do I really have to tell you everything X?" He runs his free hand on his beautifully styled hair, messing it up.

"Kill the decoys, all of them if you have too, burn the city down, cut off their form of communication, whatever, I don't care, but, I want them killed, and the Montero family captured. I don't care how you do it X, but do what you have to, or for goodness sake, don't come back." He ends his call, in frustration, and heads to pour himself more whiskey.

"Is everything okay?" His uncle asks.

"Never better uncle." He smiles through his lies, trying his best not to break the glass he was holding on too.

"What did the X say?" He questions.

"I think the question should be, what exactly are we gonna do to the Montero line once they have been captured?" He raises his and his uncle gladly raises his and they make a toast.

All the three men laugh, filling the room with evil laughter, waiting for X with good news, and good news only.

Xerxes's POV

This has been the biggest our gig yet. To kill the Montero family. They have been declining in the mafia world in the past few years, and taking them out would be easy, or so I thought.

The plan was simple, ambush them while they leave the airport, as that would be the place they least expect it, but what would you know? The place was taken over by the Italian Don over night, and our people couldn't even get an inch of that place.

And afterwards, things have been going downhill for us. The amount of decoys that came out of that airport then later scattered all over the city, caught us off guard.

We didn't expect that, nor did we expect to be hacked while hacking the government. In that regards, I've come to a conclusion, the Montero's either have a silent partner, or they just fooling the world to believe that they are weak, but on the side, they are internally growing more forces, which is more dangerous If you asked me.

And why do I want to end the Montero line you ask? Just because. They are a gig I just happen to come across with lots of money involved. No bad blood really.

"Boss, what do we do?" Malcolm asks. "All our plans are coming to nothing because of that family. What do you propose we do?"

I slowly massage my temples trying to think of a way to sabotage their plan. Whatever they are doing, it's some sort of formation, and a formation has the beginning, middle and end.

Since we missed the beginning, we could mess up the middle so they don't reach the end. But how?

What could we possibly do that could expose them cause even if we start killing the decoys, they will not be shaken about it. Those men have sworn to die for the Montero legacy and with reason might I add.

The Montero line is said to treat their own exceptionally well, and their enemies, exceptionally bad. So dying for them would be an honor for most people.

And killing them would really just be a waste of our time.

I look at Duke and ask, " If we were to make a plan, what would scare you the most in that plan?" I ask.

He seemed to think for a second or so and then replies, "You not following through with the plan, or deciding to do your own thing in that plan." He states. And he is right.

A perfect plan can only be ruined if their is lack of, or no communication at all.

Right, communication.

And just like that, light bulbs.

If the guys are not talking to each other, how will they find each other? Surely they will want to check up on each other time and time again. But the question now is, how do we cut off their communication if they hacked us?

"How would you cut communication between two people?" I ask Denver, who is also my right hand man.

"By removing the source of power I guess." He answers.

"But what if that power is secured by them too?" I add.

"Then kill the root I guess?" He replies, no longer sure of his answer. But he was right. If we couldn't hack them back, we just kill the power as a whole, and we just cause a total outage and have nothing going in or out. That way they would think we know what they are doing, and just wait to take them out when they running around like headless chicken.

"Bro Yommy, get some of our guys and run over the electricity tower." I instruct him.

"Excuse me, what sir?" He looks at me in confusion.

"The tower, if we cut off the power, they will think we hacked them, and they will run in a panic and expose themselves. And in that fit, we ambush them." I explain.

I then hears ohhs from the other guys, and Bro Yommy doesn't need to be told twice to take some men to destroy the Sicilian tower.

How about that Montero family? Let's see what you can do about that?

I smirk, finally felt the Montero line will finally go down.
