Life hasn't ever been good to Pio Polkis, his food in restaurants is always overspiced, when he gets clothes as present they're all too big and - oh, don't forget that he's died when he's been five.
How fortunate that his older brother Piers has been with him because the shock when Pio's fallen off the tree, breaking his petite neck, has activated the ancient heritage of the Piers family: necromancy. And this with not a droplet of a witch's or wizard's blood in their veins, funny, isn't it?
Since then, the brothers have changed, they aren't cheery children anymore that climb every tree they see and jump from high rocks for fun.
Piers has started bullying those who're different to distract from the fact that hes everything but normal himself while Pio's grown quieter, afraid that somebody will eventually notice that he's not exactly alive anymore.
However, while Pio indeed has died, another boy hasn't: Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived.
And because life wants to make up for trying to kill both of them, Piers Polkis befriends Dudley Dursley, taking his brother with him to visit Dudley - and his strange cousin, who's living under the staircase.
It's narrow in Harry's cupboard but both of them should actually be lying in narrow, narrow graves so maybe that's the reason that the two of them hide in the dark together.
The could hide together forever.

¬pio's actually just named pio bc his brother's name also starts with p, lmao ¬pio actually looks quite dead, he's pale and quite meager, no matter how much he trys to gain weight it just doesn't work - he'll grow quite a lot tho, he'll at least be taller than 1,85m ¬pio's afraid of heights nowadays ¬pio and harry are friends and mostly sit in the cupboard together ¬pio is awkward around harry bc he's like damn, i'm dead ¬harry gets awkward around pio when he gets to know that he's a wizard bc damn, i'm a wizard ¬they're awkward best friend and just cute and hilarious ¬they continue being friends even when piers and dudley aren't that close anymore ¬they can have different love interests in the story but should end up with each other ¬hardcore slowburn pls ¬big drama when harry has to move in book seven ¬u decide if pio dies, i'm too hungry to think of a reason rn
