Chapter 11:A 4th to remember!

-Maribel pov-
Setting up for 4th of July has been a blast. The moms have gotten into it a bunch. My fiancés have been a little confused though. I may have accidentally told them someone may or may not stop by tonight.

I called her for our date Friday and last night...last night I accident invited her tonight. I think Shelby knows just won't say. Judy is still in the dark.

We just want her to be able to actually stand with us. We don't want her to be a bridesmaid. We want her to be up beside us when we get married. We want her to say 'I do' with us.

That's the plan that's been happening. I just know they won't put it into action. So I'm pushing us to the line and she can get us over it. I just hope she shows up and everything goes well.

"Mari why don't we talk?" I turn and look at Shelby "Office please"

I nod and follow her in "What's going on?" She closes the door and gives me a stern look "What?"

"Your phone went off" I cringe as she holds up my phone "You text and called her?"

"I know what I'm doing" Shelby doesn't look convinced "Look she knows if it doesn't work out tonight then it's no issue! If it does work then we hold back and then add her to the plans!"

"Fine" Shelby holds my phone out to me "This better work"

"It will" Shelby nods and walks out the door "At least I hope it does"

-Time skip-
The party has gone underway and its amazing! Judy seems upset about something though. Maybe it's cause we haven't done fireworks? I usually have set them off when it dark though.

The girls have been playing around and having fun. We have a inflatable bounce house for them. It was just to hard to pass up. The girls faces were to adorable when it was blown up!

Hell been sugar, Pamela, and Sam go in it. I have felt bad for Sam and Grace. We have been leaving then out of things lately. It's not that we forgot...it's that they usually just stay to themselves.

The usually eat in their room and leave us be. Grace is joining the dance class so I hope this give me time. I wanna be able to try and bond with them. If I'm gonna be their mom I'm bonding Damnit!

I'm not prepared for the doorbell going off when it does. I share a look with Shelby and I get up. I walk to the front door and slowly open the door. I smile when I see who it is.

"We figured since we had no reason to not spend money" Burt moves and reveals the whole club "We'd come visit!"

"The girls will love this" I move out of the way and the kids run past to the backyard "Thank you"

"It's no problem at all" Carol smiles as Burt nods "Can I talk to Maribel alone?"

"Of course" Burt gives her a kiss and walks to the backyard "I think I smell barbecue!"

I watch him leave then get turned "Help me!" I finally see the bags under her eyes "We are hoping this New York trip is going to help us but it's not!"

"W-what's going on?" She sighs and let's go of me "I need to know the facts Carol"

"Since Kurts been doing his little stuff...Burt has been staying home more and taking care of him" Carol sighs "There's nothing for me to do! Kurt doesn't want me and neither does Burt..only Dave comes to me for help..it's like I'm invisible! Blaine and Dave are slowly not needing me either"

"Oh Carol" I pull her into a hug "I'm so sorry"

"It's ok" She sighs and pulls back "Did you get the flowers I sent?"
