Chapter 5

-Shelby pov-
It's been a few days since the incident. Rachel has been stuck in her mind since that day. She's just been little and nothing else. The girls have played and done things with her though.

They just are worried and honestly so am I. I don't know what to do in a situation like this! Nothing prepares you for this. Not to mention the girls are close to hitting one month pregnant!

Everything is just going crazy in my life right now. I'm outside in the garage trying to fix a tire, the girls are all worried because Rachel won't talk, my fiancés are confused and don't know what to do, and I'm still here not sure eith-...oh god my heart.

I grab my chest as I step back from the tire. I fall to the ground and try to breathe. With the strength I have I hit the car jack. The car falls and starts to roll.

"Please god" I start to space in and out "Let it make noise"

I slowly watch as it fades to black.

-Madison pov-
I'm breastfeeding Lucy when I hear a crash! We all jump up and run outside. Outside Judy's front is hit by mine...Shelby! We run into the garage and see Shelby out on the ground.

"Call 911" Mary runs over to Shelby and picks her up "Wake up baby girl...wake up for momma...CALL 911 PLEASE!"

I pull out my phone and love Lucy in my arms. Everything is moving so slow. My phone isn't holding still in my hand either. How long has she been down?

"Hello 911 what's your emergency?"

"M-my fiancé is...I don't know" I feel the tears falling down "We need your help!"

-Time skip-
It's been 3 hours since we've gotten here. No one has told us anything. We've been checked on for the babies sake and that's it. I hate that this has happened.

I know things have been a little crazy but it's not like we haven't been trying. We've been trying so hard to fix everything. But now here we are. God I'm just...I'm so tired!

"Shelby Corcoran family?" We stand up as the doctor walks over "She had a heart attack..the way all of her tests came back it seemed to be stress related..I don't wanna dig to far into family business but this was a bad one! It was close to being a widow maker"

"There's been some stress around the house" Judy sighs "There was a dance studio incident, we've been taking care of our family, we've been struggling some, we are expecting three babies! My god we pushed it all onto her again didn't we?"

"Don't blame yourselves" The doctor looks around and nods toward the door "Why don't we go talk privately?"

Mary keeps the babies and we follow him. We go to a more secluded area and he looks over his clipboard. He flips some pages and nods.

"What?" He looks up at me confused "You look like you found something"

"I did" He flips the board toward us "This is her iron levels and her sugar levels"

"Wait" Maribel gets closer to the papers "Those are in line with some who has diabetes issues"

"Yes they are" the doc flips the board around and sighs "It's someone who's Diabetes have gone unchecked for years"

Judy shakes her head and looks confused "Tha...that can't be" Judy points toward the waiting room "Her mom would've taken care of her better than that!"

"I've gone over every test I can" The doc sighs "I'm sorry...we've got her set up the way we need and we'll give her a pump that needs to be attached at all times! It can never be taken off..it really does mean life or death"
