Chapter 34

-Judy pov-
Getting home from Sunday service never has been so long as it is today. My brain isn't even working anymore. I've been out of it since waking up this morning. We have a new talk to do with the girls today.

I look in the rear view and smile. Lucy has joined Rachel and Emma in going all out. I've never seen her be such a slobber box. Santana hasn't gone too far but she's definitely on the verge I think.

Emma has been able to get cutdown hours thanks to another counselor joining. So now she goes home early and babies with the moms. She has been having difficulty getting around that way though.

With having twins her belly isn't letting her crawl. So a lot of the time she butt scoots. It's lead to way too many butt splinters. Madison thinks we should get a carpet for the house.

We also have Carole staying with us. We aren't planning on adding her to our already huge relationship. She said that slowly Kurt has been stopping the age play cause he feels better now. But that's not why she's in New York.

She had a talk with Burt and they decided to go separate ways. Everything is ending mutually but it's still taking its toll. We had told her to come to us if she needed anything. I guess a room is what she needs.

She's been a great help around the house. She's still lactating too so when we need extra help she comes through. I let out a sigh of relief when we pull into the drive. I roll down my window as Maribel comes out to help get the girls.

"Hey beautiful" She gives me a big smile "How was service?"

"Good" I get out of the vehicle and look at her belly "I see you've taken to stealing shirts?"

"I was just trying to get covered" Maribel pouts "Does it look bad?"

"No" I walk over and put a hand on her baby bump "You look beautiful"

She leans in and gives me a kiss "Thank you" We break away as she walks to Santana's side "Better get Lucy Q in before she slobbers through her shirt"

I nod and quickly walk over to her side. I open the door and she gives me a smile around her fist. I smile as I look at my baby girl. Her cheeks have rounded out again and she looks so adorable!

I get her unbuckled and grab the diaper bags. After I carry her inside I sit her down and let her crawl to the others. I put the bags down in the kitchen and stretch. I really need a good spa day.

"Hello" I feel Shelby's arms wrap around me as she put her head on my shoulder "How was service?"

"If you all Wanna know why don't you all come with me?" She chuckles and I smile at the sound "Lucy was having issues not going full little one"

"Noticed that with Rachel at school sometimes" Shelby let's go of me and walks to the fridge "Want something to drink?"

"Well I know we don't have Diet Coke or anything you can drink beside water" Shelby glares at me and closes the fridge "I'll make a store run after we have our talk"

Crying turns our attention to Fran and Carole "I am so confused" Carole holds out the crying Fran "She won't stop crying! I've tried everything! Well not everything but I don't wanna cross any lines at all! Maybe this is why Kurt stopped?"

"He stopped because he got everything he needed" I grab Fran and look at Carole "Changing them isn't crossing a line! It's really helpful to us!"

"Are you sure?" Carole sniffles and wipes her nose "I'm sorry I'm such a mess"

"It's ok" I look at Fran and smile "Why don't we get you changed and then get everyone together for our talk?"

Fran just lays her head on my shoulder and whimpers. I think she's entered the zone too. I take her to the office and get her quickly changed into a new diaper. After getting her onesie snapped back I carry her to the living room.

"Alright!" Shelby claps to get everyone's attention "Family meeting!"

"Haven't had one of these in a short while" Mary walks in and sits down with the moms "Can't believe it's happening so soon!"

"It's important" Once everyone is seated Shelby starts talking "Emma, Rachel, and Lucy are the only ones so far who have gone full little one"

"We have no problem with this at all" I look at the girls "You all can do it if you want! We know this has gone past the original agreement on things though"

"Which is why we are having this talk" Shelby looks at the girls "We started this to make up for our shortcomings as moms...we all know that we failed and we wanted to make up for it"

Maribel nods and goes on "But we've talked with you all and you all agreed we made up for things" The girls nod this time "But we have continued this to today"

"We aren't stopping it" The girls all look at me "But if you want to you can! The thing we are doing is instead saying..if you wanna go all the way you can and we won't judge or say anything! We will love and take care of you! You can still continue your school work and what you wanna do! But when you're home and where you're safe you can be fully dependent on us!"

"So what do you girls say?" The girls look at a each other then Shelby "You can take time to answer if you want"

"E ana e al" Santana smiles "E al ana e al!"

"Is this agreed to be all parties?" The girls who go small all nod and I smile "Alright! So begins it then!"

They cheer before going back to playing "That was nice" I look over at Mary who looks confused "What were we needed for?"

"Help" Shelby sighs "We have gone in way over our heads on somethings..money fails sometimes as you all know"

"We don't wanna force you to pay anything but" I sigh "We need help with them and the house"

"Say no more" Debbie shakes her head "You all don't bother us and we love spoiling all of the grandkids"

"Tis a grandparents job" Janine smiles "Plus you have two fathers in California that are making big money"

"I just am happy to be apart of the family" Rose smiles happily "Plus I'm getting a lot of money with the divorce so I'll be loaded"

I give a small smile to the moms "I'm glad you all are not upset with us asking to help" I sigh and look at the ground "I know my mom wouldn't help if she was here"

"Your mom wasn't a good woman" Shelby raises my face to meet our eyes "You have a family that cares about you and loves you! We won't throw you to the side or try and force you to anything you don't wanna do!"

"I know" I lean forward and give her a quick kiss "I love you"

"I love you" We share a quick kiss again and she steps back "Now I smell a girl that needs to get a change!"

Shelby walks over and the girls disperse with laughter. I smile as I watch the others join in to find the one who needs changed. I watch as they all laugh and try to escape the moms. They all looks so happy.

"They wear that smile with you too" I look over and see Mary got closer "I'll be your mother-in-law on paper before too long"

"You'll be my mother-in-law in all ways" I smile at her and she smiles back "You think they really will stick with me?"

"Look at the family you've created" I turn and look at all of the laughing faces "You have been here since the start! You were the one that brought my baby in! They are staying with you and I know they aren't leaving anytime soon"

"Thank you" I give her a big hug "We have a dirty baby to catch now"

We break apart and I get up from the couch. We join in with everyone. The smell was coming from Jasmine and Beth. After getting them changed we all relaxed and had more laughs.

I really do love this family. I can't wait to see what comes next!
